GPA and Class Rank
The GPA includes all credit-bearing courses taken at Marmion which appear on the transcript. Marmion Academy weights Honors and Advanced Placement courses in the GPA calculation by adding one quality point to the grade points earned in those courses. Grades posted to the transcripts and report cards are the actual grades earned and do not reflect any “weighting.”
A student’s class rank is based on their cumulative weighted GPA relative to class standing. While class rank is no longer published on the transcript, that information is kept internally and can be provided upon request.
