2024-2025
Our team focuses on advancing the mission of Marmion and on raising the necessary voluntary dollars to help fund Marmion Abbey, Marmion Academy, and Marmion’s Guatemala Mission.
We host events, spearhead marketing and social media efforts, recruit volunteers, raise money, and strive to build relationships with those who believe in Marmion’s mission. Our team works to match opportunities for support with those interested in investing in Marmion’s future. We are constant cheerleaders for the mission of Marmion!
The majority of our funding is directed to the Academy. The current tuition only covers 75% of the total cost of educating our students. This leaves a gap of $1.8 million ($4,500 per student) which is filled through voluntary gifts to the MARMION FUND each year. Any gifts beyond that amount are used as directed by the donor or to the area of greatest need. This often includes the Guardian Angel Financial Aid Fund, program enhancements, building maintenance, etc.
Donations directed to the Abbey help defray the cost of health care, building maintenance, and education for our younger monks.
The Guatemala Mission relies on donations from the United States to serve the native population of the Quetzaltenango, Guatemala area. The monks at the San José Priory provide a youth Retreat Center, spiritual counseling, a Spanish School for adult Church ministers from the U.S.A., and pastoral assistance for the area residents.
October 2024
Tuition on average only covers 75% of the cost of educating our students. Contributions by our alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends to the MARMION FUND are essential to help us meet and exceed the needs of our students. When you receive the MARMION FUND mailing, please consider a gift to support the great work of the monks and faculty/staff.

We understand there are a great many charities out there, but we humbly ask that you consider donating to Marmion on December 3rd where your donation will be used wisely and efficiently.
