memories We are so happy to share the AW21 collection from MarMar Copenhagen with you.

This collection has contained a lot of first-time experiences for us and that is kind of special, as this is our 37th collection. But never before have we designed a collection in the midst of a global pandemic. Seems like the world is spinning a little differently, some days more than others.

Making an effort and doing our best, is our mantra and it feels even more relevant.

Surely this Autumn will be filled with good times and we are excited about new memories we will make together.

The collection is designed in drops and with every drop, you´ll get a new chapter in the tale of Arthur and Ella - our little friends that guide us through the Autumn into the Winter.

Every drop has its prints and focuses on specific colours. In drop 1 you´ll find our classic ribbed Modal, in Organic Turkish Cotton, mixed with high-level Modal Tencel, delivered in recycled polyester bags. The colours of the Modal matches all drops, as always.

MarMar Copenhagen wants to be the family´s go-to brand for the best basics.

From baby´s first outfit until the kids are all grown.

At MarMar Copenhagen focus is on the product, working with great determination in every link, to ensure design, quality and fit go together and that items can be used across seasons and preferably by more than one child. That´s responsible to us and combined with certified fabrics, decent working conditions and as carbon neutral transportation as possible, we hope you can feel that we´re making an effort and doing our best to make great clothes for kids aged 0-16.

With this collection, we pay tribute to Autumn and Winter. To all the fun we are going to have both outside and indoors. Colours are so beautifully muted and nature is filled with inspiration for adorable prints. A nod to times gone by, with a focus on frills, pretty collars and delicate embroidery. Looking intricate compared to more clean-cut styles in heavy jersey qualities.

Modal Since 2008 Modal has been the foundation of every single collection we have created at MarMar Copenhagen. It is the heart of our NOOS range as well as the four seasonal collections we create. With love. Soft, durable and in beautiful classic colours that last across seasons.

Our Modal products are a blend of Cotton and TENCEL™ Modal.

TENCEL™ Modal is a trademark of the Austrian company Lenzing AG. What’s special about this blend is that it regulates absorption and releases moisture which means that the fabric is breathable and regulates to the body’s natural thermal abilities. Fibres retain long-lasting colour and sheen even after many,

many washings. Modal fibres exhibit high flexibility resulting in a naturally soft touch to the skin. Blending TENCEL™ Modal with other fibres significantly improves the softness of fabrics, enhancing overall comfort.

Perhaps you’re wondering where the cotton comes from? It’s grown and spun in the same country we produce all our Modal styles in, beautiful Turkey and the cotton in our classic Modal rib is certified organic.

TENCEL™ Modal fibres are mainly manufactured from beech wood which is sourced from sustainable forests in Austria and neighbouring countries in a closed looped system. Beech wood forests are a natural and renewable source of raw material. These forests are either FSC®(C041246) or PEFC™ certified.

TENCEL™ Modal fibres have also earned the recognition of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.

We also use Modal in these series: classic ribbed Modal, Modal Smooth Rib, Modal Fine Rib, Modal Smooth Print, Modal Pointelle Rib, Modal Heavy Waffle, and Modal Smooth Solid. All of them using the trademark TENCEL™ Modal.
