ABOUT ME

Please refer to my resume for experience and contact information.
I am a recent graduate from the Interior Design program at Kansas State University. I am based in Geneva, Illinois and have always been interested in art and design. I am very passionate about sustainability and biophilia in my designs and I strive to create spaces that are environmentally friendly and also bring nature into the design whenever possible.
I grew up visiting national parks and being around nature, and because of that I always try to bring nature inspired elements into my designs. I pride myself on my organization and time management while working on my design projects and believe that those skills are equally as important to a project as the actual design.
NATURE CENTER AND CLASSROOM COMMERCIAL 2024
Year: Fourth Year
Timeline: 8 Weeks
This project was a design for a space that catered to the needs of a chosen group and age range. I designed a nature center in Chicago, Illinois that also contained a classroom to host an after-school learning program for children with autism. The nature center uses biophilia to educate all children about nature in their urban environment while catering to the sensory needs of children with autism using design theories. The classroom and sensory room are used by children and teachers to help children learn in an environment that is designed for their sensory needs.

EMPWR FITNESS CENTER COMMERCIAL 2025
Year: Fourth Year
Timeline: 14 Weeks
This project is my senior capstone project as was completed throughout the entire last semester. I was given an existing building in Manhattan, Kansas and was tasked with deciding on a business that the town needs. Due to the large amount of young adults and lack of fitness centers, I chose to design a women’s-only fitness center focused on safety, community, and empowerment. I focused on creating a luxury experience through finishes and furniture to help EMPWR stand apart from other fitness centers. SKILLS:

SITE ANALYSIS

kansas state university. most of Manhattan’s population includes the students of KSU ages 18-24 generally. This is the main target user group.
poyntz ave. a popular business district with restaurants and shopping is located a few blocks from the site, which helps with advertisement and convenience.

NEMPWR fitness center. the site is located in the central core business district. This can bring in business and is convenient for those who work in the area.

HOTEL TERRA HOSPITALITY 2024
Year: Third Year
Timeline: 14 Weeks
I was in a randomly-assigned team with 3 other classmates. We were given an office building on the K-State campus to adapt into a boutique hotel and restaurant. I designed the lobby and restaurant portion and with the help of my teammates, chose to create a farm to table Italian restaurant to reflect the farming culture in Kansas. This project was completed with Aspen Bader, Keira Murphy, and Lauren Garberg.

VISITOR CENTER CHARRETTE
COMMERCIAL 2024
Year: Fourth Year
Timeline: 6 Weeks
In my second year I created a concept design for a visitor’s center in a location of choice on a long roll of trace paper. In my fourth year, I built the design in Revit, with some small changes. I then created a set of construction documents for the space. I chose Glacier National Park as my location and based my design on some distinct elements of the area and the nature around it. This involved a few custom elements that were detailed in my CD’s.

STUDY ABROAD
ITALY 2023
Year: Summer after Second Year
Timeline: 2 Weeks
In summer of 2023 I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take place in a study abroad program in Italy. This was hosted by the Kansas State interior design program and was focused on the architecture in Italy. I travelled the country with about 20 classmates and we would occasionally take time to sketch the architecture we saw. This trip taught me a lot about the history of architecture.
