MARLEN - Passione e dedizione L’Azienda MARLEN è stata fondata nel 1982 da Mario Esposito, Amministratore e Antonio Esposito, Direttore di Progettazione. Le affascinanti ed esclusive penne sono frutto della loro consolidata esperienza lavorativa nel settore. Con successo hanno sviluppato le proprie idee che, unitamente alla loro particolare professionalità, hanno consentito di realizzare questo entusiasmante progetto. Oltre un ventennio di designs innovativi hanno riflesso i movimenti culturali, storici, tecnologici ed artistici di ieri e di oggi. Il successo della firma è dovuto alla determinazione, alla dedizione e all’abilità di persone, prodotti e organizzazione. Mario Esposito, capace imprenditore, ha promosso il marketing internazionale dell’Azienda, curandone le Pubbliche Relazioni, mettendo a profitto, con autentica perspicacia, la sua cultura commerciale, ideando una strategia che, giorno dopo giorno, incrementa ed estende sempre più la distribuzione della Società, rendendo gli strumenti di scrittura della MARLEN come risultato di privilegio, per coloro che li possiedono.

Antonio Esposito è, invece, colui che dà forma agli straordinari ed artigianali oggetti, capolavori per scrittura. Nella sua lunga e lusinghiera attività creativa si è sempre ispirato al “Capitello Corinzio”, che nei secoli ha sorretto archi e volte della Grecia Antica, dando origine alla singolare “MARLEN Clip”. I due fondatori-dirigenti dell’azienda sono affiancati da altrettanto validi e qualificati collaboratori che svolgono con grande passione ed impegno le mansioni loro affidate, distinguendosi per l’affiatato lavoro d’equipe. Essi portano a termine i loro obiettivi artistici con meticolosa precisione e usano la loro formazione professionale per assicurare il raggiungimento di quello che rimane il fermo traguardo primario: un prodotto di prestigio e di ineccepibile qualità elevata. ELEGANZA Oggi il nome MARLEN, è in grado di offrire penne di alta qualità e tecnica all’avanguardia, che si ispirano a bellezze architettoniche, geni della letteratura e della poesia, eventi storici ed altre sono state dedicate ad alcuni dei più grandi personaggi del mondo artistico e culturale. Questo oggi le rende molto singolari e perfette sotto l’aspetto tecnico, mettendone in evidenza la classica eleganza. MARLEN realizzò nel 2001 la penna ufficiale del G8 di Genova. Nel 2005 ha anche dedicato una penna al Parlamento Europeo. Nell’ottobre 2007 ha realizzato, in collaborazione con la Comunità di Sant’Egidio, la penna ufficiale del “Summit per la pace” di Napoli, donando nell’occasione 15 esemplari della edizione speciale Peaceful World alle maggiori autorità politiche e religiosi, tra cui Sua Santità Papa Benedetto XVI. locale come in occasione della collezione ANTICA ATELLA, dedicata alle origini della storia di questo territorio, ed ha dedicato penne ad altre importanti antiche civiltà come per la collezione MAYA, AZTLAN, ITHACA, EGIZIA, ANTICA ROMA, MASCHERE ATELLANE. Questo rende oggi MARLEN altamente distintiva, tecnicamente perfetta e capace di catturare la sottile eleganza del tempo. Alcuni dei gioielli creati da MARLEN sono ancora oggi nel taschino di personaggi di spicco nei più svariati settori della vita quotidiana; ad esempio una Maccus, ispirata alla maschera del teatro Atellano e quindi omaggio alle origini territoriali dell’Azienda, per il premio Nobel Dario Fo, mentre il famoso attore Arnoldo Foà ha ricevuto, durante lo show condotto dal noto giornalista-anchorman Maurizio Costanzo, una Journal in occasione del suo novantesimo compleanno. Anche il commediografo Giorgio Albertazzi possiede una penna Marlen. Nel campo della politica due Capi di Stato italiani quali Carlo Azeglio Ciampi e Giorgio Napolitano sono stati omaggiati con un pregevole strumento da scrittura. MATERIALI PRIMARI IMPIEGATI Le materie prime, quali celluloide, oro bianco e giallo 18 Kt, argento massiccio 925, platino 950, resine acriliche, ebanite o radica, per arrivare sino ai modernissimi materiali compositi come fibra di carbonio, fibra di vetro o polimeri come il kewlar, a cui si aggiungono i metalli tecnologici, sono tutti selezionati con perizia al fine di assicurare l’elevata qualità degli strumenti di scrittura. PER SVUOTARE Estrarre completamente il pennino dall’inchiostro. Comprimere a fondo e più volte il pulsante (b). Assorbire l’eventuale inchiostro fuoriuscito o in eccesso con carta assorbente.

Per il caricamento e lo svuotamento del serbatoio, utilizzare la chiave, la moneta o similari in dotazione come di seguito descritto: PER CARICARE (1) Immergere il pennino nel calamaio fino a che l’inchiostro lo copra completamente. Inserire la chiave/moneta in dotazione (a) , o qualsiasi oggetto similare, nel foro posto al centro del fusto (b). Tenere premuto, rilasciare la chiave seguendo le istruzioni come caricamento con pulsante di fondo. PER SVUOTARE (2) Estrarre completamente il pennino dall’inchiostro. Comprimere a fondo e più volte la chiave/moneta(a). Assorbire l’eventuale inchiostro fuoriuscito o in eccesso con carta assorbente.
LATERAL COMPRESSION FILLING SYSTEM WITH KEY OR COIN ACCESSORY
For the filling and emptying of the ink reservoir, use the key, coin or similar accessories as follow: FILLING (1) Dip the nib in the ink pot until the ink covers it totally. Le penne con converter o cartuccia possono essere caricate riempendo il converter o sostituendo la cartuccia; entrambe le operazioni possone essere effettuate dopo aver rimosso il fusto della penna (a). CONVERTER (2) Per riempire Immergere il pennino nel calamaio fino a che l’inchiostro lo copra completamente. Ruotare il pomello del converter (b) in senso ORARIO. Per svuotare Ruotare il pomello (b) in senso ANTIORARIO. Assorbire l’eventuale inchiostro fuoriuscito o in eccesso con carta assorbente. CARTUCCIA (3) Estrarre la cartuccia esaurita (c) e sostiturla con una nuova (d) spingendola a fondo nel suo alloggiamento fino alla perforazione della membrana di chiusura.

Perché mantenga sempre intatto il suo splendore necessita di piccole attenzioni e di cura costante nell’uso e nella manutenzione ordinaria. Per la pulizia interna del serbatoio si raccomanda di usare semplicemente acqua corrente o leggermente tiepida se in presenza di incrostazioni o residui di inchiostro. Nella manutenzione o pulizia generale, si sconsiglia vivamente l’impiego di diluenti, alcool o comunque sostanze chimiche; le parti metalliche, oro o argento che sia, seguono le medesime regole e dovranno essere trattate secondo gli standard usuali, con appositi, specifici, prodotti già in commercio, ma sempre con estrema cautela.

For the internal cleaning of the ink reservoirt, we recommend the use of cold water, or lukewarm water if you can find little incrustations or residual deposits pf of ink around the nib and feeder. For general cleaning, we strongly advise against the use of diluents, alcohol or other chemical substances; for the metallic parts, in gold and silver, you must follow the same instructions and they must be treated with the usual standards, but always with extreme caution
