The shoe designer. 1. How would you define your shoe design style? I really don't have a definition of my design style. However, I always refer to my fixations as my inspiration. Once a design is executed, it's time to move on to another fixation. 2. How do you distinguish a good design from a bad design? I think design is relative. All designs are equal, I just happened to like the idea that some designs are very well thought and made with some good amount of time. All it takes is an intense creative process regardless how mediocre it may seem to others?

3. Have you ever managed to get a celebrity to wear your shoes? Lady Gaga. 4. Many find starting a business from scratch challenging to say the least. Is the revenue stream from your clients enough to live off and what keeps you motivated? Marketing, business and money were not really on my horizons. For me those things are too abstract for my creativity, or probably for me it's like reading an ancient language. I know how it works, the way how a starving artist does. 5. Any big plans for the future? For now, I'm still at my last stretch of my hiatus. Let's see what's in store for me, months, weeks, days or hours from now. 6. What's been the best piece of work related advice you've received? Laugh your evil thoughts out, and do it!

Casanova’s circle Dating advice for men.

You’re in the supermarket and you notice the girl of your dreams in the cereal section. She has no wedding ring. You want to date her. What should you do? James Ah, great question! Let me first congratulate you for recognising that a lot of times the best opportunities we have to connect with someone is not at a bar or nightclub but often in everyday mundane places such as a supermarket. However you must also recognise that approaching a woman at a place like this means that you will have to adapt your approach to something much more casual and ‘softer’ than if you were in a loud club or a trendy bar. I find there are a few options that work rather well in this situation, but the best one in my experience is to ask for her advice on a product you’re considering buying. Since this was the cereal aisle, you can try something like this; “excuse me. I’m trying to make myself buy a healthy

cereal.... but I always just end up buying Frosties! Do you know which of these is good for you? which one do you buy?”. This is a good indirect approach perfect for this setting. The first line is slightly humorous and disarming. It plays into the psychology that men are big children who left to their own devices would

only ever eat “Frosties” and need the guidance of a nurturing woman to make better choices. This also hints at the fact that you’re likely a single bachelor, but more importantly it will make her feel useful and flattered that you ask her opinion. Saying you want a “healthy” choice also conveys that you try to eat well and that you feel that she is herself a healthy/ fit person, since you value her advice and choice of cereal. This is an embedded compliment, similar to when a friend asks her where she buys her clothes, thus implying she’s a good dresser. After the opening line carry on the conversation which will naturally follow, but don’t extend it too long or off-topic or it’ll become awkward. Instead use a witty situational close like; “wow, thanks for all the great advice! , you seem to know your cereal! (tongue in cheek), I don’t suppose I can buy you a bowl of (insert the name of cereal she recommended) sometime?”, and do NOT forget to smile on that delivery. THE FEEDBACK Amanda Firstly no girl is gonna answer you if you look like you ran out of bed. Always make yourself presentable.

Next, yes adding humour to start a convo is a good ice breaker. if the ultimate answer to your closing question is no, laugh it off and say “was worth a try” and a closing smile. Then leave. Usually you can get a vibe if a girl is even slightly interested so if you catch eyes more than once and she smiles then its your queue to just plain ask her if she’s interested in a date. Dont be a pussy. Sindy There’s a gazillion ways to go about THIS. It is a good idea, BUT you have to read her quickly before hand (not having a ring isn’t always the case these days, what she puts in her

cart -to prepare for those questions you’ll ask) you don’t want the woman to think you’re totally an idiot and ignorant to your own health either. And based on eye contact, smile, etc. I think that will also determine chemistry and what and how you’ll keep talking with her too.

You can sort of bump into her. That gives you an open to be a gentleman and apologize, or you can eye what she puts in her cart, do the same (adding / minus products - with common sense (like femine hygiene HA HA) and if near enough strike up a conversation then - as that would open the conversation as she’ll hopefully notice that you both are health nuts and are on the same page. Dovile Very cheesy!! I’d find it intrusive if someone asked me what cereal I’m buying. You can tell a lot about someone by what they have in their trolley/basket. I personally have had guys approach me in a supermarket and instantly I became conscious of what was in my basket (I know it’s odd). All times they came straight out with it and asked me out... I would of said yes but I just didn’t find them attractive. I do agree with casually starting a conversation though. But maybe something more on the lines of “I wouldn’t get that..” If a girl likes you she will see it as a challenge to get your approval. And it’s an opening line where she will respond with a why? As you’re chatting you can then slip in “let’s go for a drink”.

Feel more fulfilled The truth will set you free.

SELF DISCOVERY In an age of manufactured consumerism, where mass subversion directs the thinking of the masses, sometimes it is hard to actually know what your mind truly craves. There is nothing wrong with buying new shiny products but the subliminal promises they often make to our subconscious mind can sometimes be a little counterproductive, especially if what you truly desire is a genuine sense of fulfilment. The sad thing is, today’s commercial forces know us better than we do, hence they are able to develop and bring to market products tailor made for our profile. Where do they get this intelligence from? Banks, insurance companies, computer games, internet service providers, search engines, social networks, emails, telephone conversations, our routine, our life history, our file, or to put it in simpler terms ‘the system’. If after having purchased every possible item on your wish list,

you still lack any sense of genuine fulfilment, it may be time to find yourself, to learn the things the powers that be already know about you. To resolve any conflict, one must first conquer oneself. FIRST STEPS Learn your personality type. Learn your strengths and weaknesses. Learn your natural born talent. Develop your talent into a skill. Plan your journey carefully. Begin your quest.

This pattern weaves the fabric of nature together. One just needs to examine the veins in a leaf, the branches of a tree or the rivers of the world to see it at work. All flow comes about from unity. Atoms, molecules, cells, creatures... They all unite to form flow and from flow systems are born. The system that dominates humanity is civilisation. Now, imagine the power you could wield over your own destiny if you understood the system’s architecture. For that you must mine knowledge.

MINING KNOWLEDGE Self discovery is a miraculous thing but most of us are born with the innate knowledge that there is more to the universe than just ourselves. Whether through the economy, infrastructure or genetic information, we are all connected in one way or another and therefore it can not be stressed enough how useful it is to understand the fractal pattern that links us together.

By mining knowledge I do not mean assimilating everything a particular news channel says. The news is not knowledge, it is propaganda. True knowledge is knowing that powerful news channels are not the gatekeepers of facts, just individuals with different personalities and simplistic objectives, deliberately placed in tactical positions for maximum reach. They speak, listen, tell the truth, omit the truth, tell lies, exaggerate, persuade and distract, just like any other individual. And this is not just true for news channels, it is at the very core of the mass media. True knowledge is knowing the patterns of unity, flow and systems.

It is examining all sources of information from every corner and then reading in-between the lines. If you wish to mine true knowledge, start learning the Big 21 Patterns. BIG 21 PATTERNS 1. Body language 2. Personality types 3. Face reading 4. Speed reading 5. Cold reading 6. Seduction 7. Presentation 8. Public speaking 9. Marketing 10. Design 11. Emotion 12. Value 13. Defence 14. Morality 15. Power 16. Finance 17. Numbers 18. Tactics 19. Strategy 20. Dynasties 21. Civilisations To become an expert in the Big 21 is no easy feat and most will not even try but you can use this to your advantage. Stand out from the rest by learning the patterns in nature

“True knowledge is knowing the patterns of unity, flow and systems.

and London, the most exciting, exquisitely diverse and intricately connected city in the world, will grant you access to all the flow you will ever need. The United Kingdom is a trading nation, the powers that be want you to succeed, so long as your activities promote harmony and not chaos, within the capital.

WISDOM Wisdom is a whole different creature to knowledge. One way to understand the difference better is to label knowledge as opinion and wisdom as factual. Unfortunately facts can not be taught, only opinions. Science after all is just opinion based on observation, hence it’s continual revisions. Wisdom can only be learnt from experience. Only through exploration can one discover, only by risking failure can one achieve success and only through practice can one improve.

Good books can however point us in the right direction and timeless proverbs can encourage us to ask the right questions. Another way to understand the difference between knowledge and wisdom is to use the analogy of the apple. Knowledge is an imperfect description of what an apple tastes like. Wisdom is knowing the taste of an apple. To develop greater wisdom sometimes it is better to take a more indirect approach. Instead of trying to pass opinion as fact, one should attempt to stimulate reason and common sense.
