LAW The study of Law will provide you with an understanding of the role of law in society whilst raising awareness of the rights and responsibilities of individuals. You will have an introduction to the English legal system as well as some areas of substantive law.
APPLIED LAW NATIONAL CERTIFICATE/NATIONAL EXTENDED CERTIFICATE • LEVEL 3 (BTEC) The qualification will provide the opportunity for learners to showcase their skills and apply their knowledge in an appropriate, work-related context, in the study of Law.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Five GCSEs at grade 9–4, including English Language.
WHAT NEXT Applied Law is designed to develop skills for the further study of law or law related courses or towards an apprenticeship in the legal sector. This qualification can lead to many different career paths.
