Our sciences course options give you the opportunity to learn how science works in the real world, opening doors to your career as you develop knowledge and skills used in industry. There will be many opportunities for you to participate in practical projects and experiments. The department holds a weekly Science Club where you get involved in a project of your own choosing, in the past projects have included potato cannons and homemade rockets.
FIRST PRINCIPLES IN APPLIED SCIENCE GCSE • LEVEL 2
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This course provides you with an introduction to important science disciplines, which will develop your knowledge and understanding of biology, chemistry and physics. You will be encouraged to pose scientific questions and define scientific problems.
No grades needed. However, GCSE Maths and English will have to be taken alongside the course – if not already achieved.
