1. Air Terminals Place air terminals on all roof projections, like chimneys. Extend terminals at least 10 inches above the roof-line.
Brace any air terminal greater than 24 inches in height. Install air terminals within two feet of a roof ridge or within two feet of outside edges or corners on flat roofs.
