Care and Maintenance:
After initial installation, you may choose to apply a non-abrasive wax (such as beeswax) to the entire visible trim and polish with a soft flannel cloth. Please follow the wax manufacturer’s instructions carefully. We recommend this process be done monthly to maintain the highly polished finish. (The wax will protect the brass from outside elements; however it will not prevent scratching.) For unlacquered and living finishes, do not apply any waxes and allow your hardware to age naturally. For plated or lacquered finishes, you may also use a non-abrasive, mild detergent and a slightly damp microfiber cloth to periodically clean any dirt or fingerprints from the hardware.
We do not recommend:
Do not use any harsh cleaning products such as bleach-based, alcohol-based or ammonia-based cleaning products. Do not use any cloths that are rough or have been used with other cleaning solvents.. Do not use any polishes that have any type of abrasive component.
•Stainless steel care
Exposure to certain chemical or environmental conditions may promote surface oxidation. Please be aware that this is not an abnormality in the stainless steel but a reaction on the surface of the finish to the chemical environment which be can removed with a stainless-steel polish or an abrasive pad.

If you have a cup-style rain chain with end-nuts, we recommend using a dab of Blue Loctite to secure each end-nut when assembling. This will help prevent the end-nuts from wiggling their way off overtime.
