I am Marion, a designer, illustrator and interior architect with 6 years of experience.
I specialise in illustration, communication support, branding, printing, interior architecture... and other creative initiatives, for individuals & professionals. By using both traditional supports & digital technologies, and collaborating with talented people, my goal is to transform unique stories into memorable & inspiring designs that reflect individuals and companies ideas & needs.
I believe that design is a collaborative journey, together we can make positive & meaningful impacts to both local & global communities
I hope you will enjoy discovering the collaborations I had the pleasure to be part of.
I integrated l’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique in France where I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree specialised in ‘Interior Architecture’ and a ‘Mutations of the built environment / Sustainable cities’ Master’s degree in 2017.
Then, I started my career in Dublin, working as an interior architect on retail & residential projects. I later went back to France and was hired as a project manager & scenography designer. I came back in Dublin in 2019 and since worked as an interior architect & illustrator in the hospitality, healthcare, residential and museography sectors.
In March 2021, I created my illustration & design studio called ‘Explore with Marion’, which provide illustration & graphic design services as well as an artwork boutique.
Today, I am combining both an in-studio position and a freelance practice.

As part of the Failte Ireland Dublin Surprising Stories Scheme, a number of upgrades are being unveiled to enhance the storytelling and overall visitor experience at the Distillery. The storytelling aspect on the ground floor has been updated recounting the rich history and provenance of Dublin distilling as well as Teeling’s involvement in this over the generations. In a collaboration with local Dublin Street Artist Shane Sutton, visitors now follow a street art storyline around the walls of the space and can even nose the award winning ‘Teeling Small Batch Whiskey’ straight from the barrel in the Maturation Space.,
The scripts for the tours have been updated and improved and visitors are welcomed with a new video produced by Dublin creative agency Big O, featuring Jack and Stephen Teeling. This video is presented in the upgraded/purpose built ‘Cocoon’ space to seat 30 people with state-ofthe-art AV facilities.
Software: InDesign
Visitors can now opt to join a guided tour of the fully operational distillery and get to see a real working whiskey distillery through all aspects of production, while hearing the tour details in their own language, on their own phone through a new international language app. I designed the front end of the App: users journey, colours scheme, typography… With InDesign software I developed all needed screens for the future app. Imagineear, translators and app producers, brought this app to life. This is a first for an Irish distillery and adds to the existing option of booking a guided tour ‘as gaelige’ with an Irish speaking tour guide.

In order to keep in touch with their followers on their various social medias and let them know that the agency was still open for business, studio dsq, an architecture & design studio based in Dublin, wanted to illustrate all the members of their team working from home.
To create this set of illustrations, I asked to all the members of the team to tell me some accessories we could find on their desk. This way, all illustrations were unique and could translate the unique personality of the team.
Later in the year, the set was customised for Christmas time.

Gloriosa is a flower shop situated in the little town of Sucé-sur-Erdre, France. Locals have been happy to enjoy this boutique and its treasures for 10 years.
Celine, its owner, felt the need of new packaging and cards that would perfectly accompany their floral creations.
A range of three floral and colourful symmetrical patterns have been developed and are now used with every order.

During the first lockdown, I deeply missed hiking around Ireland. There is a brand in particular that I used to bring with me while going on adventures: The North Face.
I wanted to highlight their motto ''Never Stop Exploring‘’, while respecting the identity of the brand and their colours palette, by creating 3 illustrations representing a skier, a runner and a climber who are still practicing their hobbies at home.
These illustrations could have been used as communication supports.

Madeleine, founder of Woander Tours, required a custom illustration with its various social media formats in order to communicate about their new self-guided audio tours.
For Dublin, the goal was to illustrate a typical scene on Grafton street with a busker playing music.
For Cork, it was chosen to illustrate one of the most beautiful scenery of the County: Barleycove Beach.
Both illustrations includes the depiction of a girl wearing headphones- to symbolise being out enjoying the tour.
By purchasing Woander Tours audio guide, future visitors also receive a print of these illustrations, the perfect souvenirs gift.

Les Vagabondes is a small group of French women who fell completely in love with Ireland. Their wish was to be able to share their experiences under one name, talk about all the good places they tried in the city center of Dublin, as well as road trips around Ireland.
I was in charge of the creation of their logo, website, Instagram page, as well as goodies such as t-shirts, prints and tote bags.

I was invited to be a member of the jury for the graduating class of students of L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique. It was an honour to have been among those selected and meet talented & motivated students, with various interesting backgrounds. As a member of a four member panel, I was required to judge the body of work and level of knowledge of five students and provide my expert opinion and judgement as to whether a degree shall be conferred on an individual basis.
My art is mainly inspired by road trips and hikes around all of Ireland. I carry a sketchbook everywhere I go and try to capture the unique atmosphere of a place or town. These explorations become my inspiration for my in-studio creations, where I continue to illustrate Irish Beauty with various mediums. I enjoy participating in markets and organising art workshops.

I started to spread painted stones in 2015 and now it is more than 200 pebbles that have been left around the world: France, Ireland, England, China,... By creating a little piece of art on the spot and leave it where I was, my aim is to spread kindness. The earth become one big art piece.
I started my career as an interior architect, and quickly realise the opportunity of developing my skills in illustration & graphic design. I believe that all designs – interior, graphic, scenography, etc – share the same process (learn, empathise, define, ideate, improve, implement…) and are complementary.
