welcomes you to the world’s first island beach club located on its very own private island, just 25 minutes from Port Denarau.
Malamala Beach Club is open daily from 9.30am until 6.00pm, welcoming individual travellers, leisure groups, corporate groups and social events. The island can be chartered on an exclusive basis for either daytime or after-hours evening events.
Malamala Beach Club provides groups with a stylish multi-faceted events venue with a casual, fresh atmosphere and everything you need to create an event your guests will never forget. For groups with over 30 guests, we recommend booking a private space. We also allow you to combine spaces depending on your group size and budget. We keep things simple by charging a minimum food & beverage spend, with no hire fees! Refer to our Banquet Kit for an extensive selection of food and beverage.
The two Grand Deluxe Cabanas are ideal for groups of up to 20 guests*, making them perfect for those traveling with extended family or celebrating a special occasion requiring an exclusive space for the day.

Our private, semi covered event space with exclusive use bar and swimming pool offering magnificent ocean views is suitable for 50 - 80 guests. Perfect for an intimate celebration, day or night event, cocktail, wedding or meeting space.
For the ultimate experience - make Malamala Beach Club your own and book it for an exclusive event for the day or night for up to 350* guests. This allows you to completely personalize your day or evening. Depending on the number of guests, your meal can be served in our restaurant, in a garden setting or across them all!

Covered seating for up to 120 allows guests to enjoy the stunning ocean views in one space with all of the main facilities within easy access. Dedicated space at The Club Restaurant can be set aside with prior arrangement for semi-private dining for smaller groups of up to 50 guests when on a shared use of the island basis.
For groups looking for more privacy, a breakout space or perhaps a dedicted spa (additional charges apply), there are 12 Beachside Cabanas scattered around the quieter side of the island which are ideally suited for this. The Beachside Cabanas, which are perfect for couples and one Grand Cabana (which fits up to 12 guests), all have their very own day bed/s and a dedicated butler to take care of all your needs.
Situated in a prime location with access to all facilities, our poolside day beds are spacious enough for two people and allow you to enjoy beach club tunes whilst you take in the beautiful views across the Mamanuca Islands. A maximum of 6-day beds can be booked for groups who are on a shared basis day at the island.
Rates for Beachside Cabanas and poolside day beds are listed on page 8. (Additional charges are only applicable for groups on a shared use basis.)
MALAMALA BEACH CLUB offers a delicious à la carte menu with light bites, pacific-inspired meals and share platters, with an array of hand-crafted cocktails. Options are designed to be casual and fun, and can be served at a seated table in the restaurant or delivered to your sun lounger, day bed or cabana.
• For groups of up to 29 guests, food and beverage are to be purchased on a consumption basis from the all-day à la carte menu. A tab can be set up for each shared use group and must be settled prior to departing the island.
• For groups of 30 or more guests, our extensive banquet menu has been designed to offer a wide range of canapés, appetizers, and main dishes served as set courses or shared platters. We offer four beverage package options to choose from and our culinary team is able to tailor your food and beverage requirements to suit your budget.
• For groups of over 75 guests, buffet stations are a great way to dine on the island.
• Any customers with food allergies or dietary can be catered for – the group must notify Malamala Beach Club of any requests at least 72 hours prior to the event date.
Depending on the size of your group, we can offer a variety of options to transfer you to and from Malamala Beach Club.
You’ll arrive at the end of our iconic jetty, built so you won’t need to wet your feet before you’re ready to.
A short stroll later, over the azure blue waters lapping below, you’ll find yourself among the swaying palms, immersed in our relaxing beach club environment and ready for a truly memorable Fiji experience.
Our daily vessel transfer departs Port Denarau at 9:30am and 10.00am (and 12.00pm for half-day pass), returning daily at either 5.00pm or 6.00pm.
A group of less than 100 people booking & travelling to Malamala Beach Club on a shared use basis can choose to travel on the scheduled South Sea Cruises services.
Have the exclusive use of one of our high-speed catamarans to transfer your guests at times that suit. The vessel can transfer up to 250 guests on a single departure and for larger groups, a reduced price is applied for two vessels.
For smaller groups, Malamala welcomes groups on private vessels. This must be arranged with the team prior to arrival and a landing fee will apply to all guests.
Make a grand entrance and arrive by helicopter. If you are part of a group, special guests can make a lavish entrance on our photo famous pier.

A landing fee is applied to all guests who arrive at Malamala Beach Club as part of a group/charter. For those on a chartered South Sea Cruises vessel, arriving on their own vessel or via helicopter, the landing fee must also be applied to every guest. The landing fee is included in the rate for those arriving on a scheduled South Sea Cruises vessel.

Malamala Beach Club offers complimentary use of non-motorised water sports equipment while on the island for snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding.
Other inclusions such as spa services, motorised water sports equipment such as jet skis, parasailing etc, can be easily arranged and is priced on application.
Special events theming, bands, group activities as well as a kids zone can be arranged.

Malamala Beach Club is owned and operated by South Sea Cruises Pte Limited. All references to Malamala Beach Club are also references to South Sea Cruises Pte Limited.
• All prices are in Fijian dollars and include all applicable Government taxes (currently 15%). Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
• All confirmed bookings are subject to wind, tide, and weather conditions and are operated at the sole discretion of South Sea Cruises Pte Limited in the interests of the safety and welfare of the passengers, vessel, and crew.
• South Sea Cruises Pte Limited reserves the absolute right to alter prices, add a fuel surcharge, cancel a departure, operate any vessel on any cruise, to decline to accept or retain any person(s) on any cruise, shore excursion, or other cruise activity, to cancel, amend or reschedule any cruise vessel, schedule or itinerary, shore excursion, island activities or any other service for any reason which South Sea Cruises Pte Limited in its absolute and sole discretion considers desirable or necessary in the interests of operational necessity and/or passengers safety and/or wellbeing.
• Arrival and departure times at ports and various places of call are provided as a guide only and in this regard, no warranty, condition, or guarantee, express or implied is given or intended.
• Due to unexpected weather conditions, access to the jetty at Malamala Beach Club may be restricted and the option of tendering guests ashore in smaller vessels may be utilized as an alternative.
• Quotes for exclusive use of Malamala Beach Club are based on a minimum Food & Beverage (F&B) spend. Groups who don’t commit to the minimum F&B spend amount will be required to pay the minimum F&B spend amount regardless of consumption.
• Groups of over 350 guests can be considered/ quoted depending on the actual requirements of the group. Additional costs may apply should the island require extra preparation and set up time pre and/or post the charter date due to the larger than normal numbers. Additional costs may also be incurred to cover hireage of any extra items needed to accommodate the larger group.
• All bookings on an exclusive use basis, whereby 75+ guests are travelling, requires exclusive return vessel transfers to be booked with South Sea Cruises as per the rates listed.
• All bookings for exclusive use of Malamala Beach Club or The Venue where the group number does not exceed 75 guests may arrange vessel transfers with an operator other than South Sea Cruises.
• Shared use bookings are accepted for groups of a maximum of 100 guests. Groups of 100+ guests must take the island on an exclusive basis.
• All bookings on a shared use basis whereby there are less than 100 guests travelling will travel on the South Sea Cruises scheduled vessel services to Malamala Beach Club departing at 9.00am daily or 12.00pm (Wed - Sun) and returning to Port Denarau at 4.15pm as per the rates listed.
• All return vessel transfer rates listed are from Port Denarau to/from Malamala Beach Club and Momi Bay to/from Malamala Beach Club to/from Port Denarau undertaken by South Sea Cruises. Quotes and/or services to/from other destinations can be provided upon request.
• Ground transfers to/from Port Denarau are not included in the rates provided. Ground transfers can be quoted separately.
• Malamala Beach Club welcomes children, however children aged 3+ years pay adult rates.
• Customers are required to follow all operating guidelines and safety procedures issued by Malamala Beach Club be they verbally or in writing.
• All customers will be required to sign an indemnity form for water sports activities. Children under the age of 16 years must have adult consent and indemnity signed by a parent or adult responsible for their care.
• There are no medical facilities located at Malamala Beach Club other than basic first aid equipment including a defibrillator. If any serious medical problem arises the person(s) needing attention will need to return to Nadi and/or return home for further medical care at own cost. It’s also important to note that sea and weather conditions can prevent or disrupt confirmed travel or events. It is therefore an essential condition when travelling with South Sea Cruises Pte Limited all customers have a valid travel insurance policy in place prior to traveling to Malamala Beach Club.
• Upon confirming a booking, a non-refundable deposit amounting to 25% of the total booking value is due within 14 days of invoice.
• The remainder of the full payment of the return vessel transfers and committed F&B options is required 60 days prior to travel.
• Bookings made within 60 days must be paid in full at time of confirmation. Full payment is not required 60 days prior for groups of less than 25 pax who are using an agent who has an approved credit account with South Sea Cruises/Malamala Beach Club.
• Payments made by International debit/credit cards are subject to 2.5-3% non-refundable administration fee.
• Expenditure incurred at Malamala Beach Club during an event which is over and above the prepaid F&B options is required to be paid prior to departure from the island unless the booking agent has an approved credit account with South Sea Cruises/Malamala Beach Club.
• An amendment fee of FJD$250 will be charged for any amendments made to the booking within the 60-day period prior to travel date. If, however, the amendment is a change of date only with a similar value, then South Sea Cruises Pte Limited, at its discretion may waive the amendment fee.
• All cancellations must be in writing to South Sea Cruises Pte Limited/Malamala Beach Club and the timing shall be based on the day of receipt of such notification by South Seas Cruises Pte Limited.
• Cancellation terms are as follows;
Outside 60 days - Forfeit of deposit (unless transferring to a new date at the same time).
31 to 60 days - Forfeit 60% of applicable booking. 0 to 30 days - Forfeit 100% of applicable booking
• Should inclement weather result in the cancellation of the event, both parties must be in agreement to the cancellation, then one of the following options will be offered – an alternative day cruise/venue of a comparable product and/ or value, the total value of the agreement will be held in credit to be used at a later date or a full refund will be provided to the Customer. The Beach Club reserves the right to make this decision and to do so with limited notice.
• The Beach Club shall not be liable for an act, omission, or failure to perform any aspect of this agreement where such act, omission, or failure arises from any act of God, pandemic, inclement weather such as cyclones, hurricanes, storms that are named to eg TD01, tempests, strikes, industrial disputes, any force majeure, or any other matter, condition, factor or cause reasonably beyond the control of the Beach Club.
• Rates are valid for travel until 31 March 2026. Rates for travel beyond these dates are subject to a 5% increase until such time as Malamala Beach Club issues confirmed rates for the following April – March period.
