ABOARD

Sea Ray SDX

Imagine a boat designed for entertaining, watersports and everything in between. Imagine a dynamic vessel that offers large social zones, powerful propulsion and premium amenities for all-day adventure. Imagine a summer filled with limitless fun on the water aboard a Sea Ray® SDX.

Sea Ray’s next-generation SDX Series combines sport boat styling and agility with the versatility and comfort usually found in a deck boat. While traditional deck boats are known for their wide, squared bows and lower profiles, the reimagined SDX model family showcases a modern design that brings together the best of both sport and deck boats, with an emphasis on maximizing capability and ride comfort.

Meeting the demands of today’s boaters without compromising on performance, the SDX line retains beloved deck boat features, including an expansive bow social zone and generous beam width throughout. With room to stretch out and kick back, the bow features a lounge-style seating area perfect for socializing with family and friends. The beam, carried through the length of the boat, allows for a wide and open layout providing maximum space and comfort.

But the benefits don’t end there.

The versatile SDX Series is well-appointed for dock hopping, coving, wakesurfing or any boating adventure. Available in 25-, 27- and 29-foot models, boaters can choose from sterndrive, outboard and surf configurations to match their lifestyle.

From bow to stern, the SDX is optimized to offer space, storage and premium amenities for hours of entertainment. The cockpit is the epitome of comfort with plush L-shaped bench seating, flexible seating configurations and options like a teak table. The helm and port companion seats have movable backrests that convert from forward-facing to aft-facing positions. The cockpit also conceals smart storage spots, such as compartments under the seats to keep watersports gear and other items secure when not in use.

Sea Ray SDX 270 Outboard

Above the cockpit, the optional watersports tower (standard on the SDX 250 Surf and SDX 270 Surf) provides protection from the elements and features elevated tow points for wakeboarding or wakesurfing. The tower can be lowered or raised at the push of a button for convenient storage.

At the transom, the SDX is expertly outfitted for on-water fun. For lounging or taking in the sights by the water, the SDX 250s and SDX 270s include a convertible sunpad with a backrest that folds down to extend the area. The SDX 290s offer a pair of luxurious reclining aft-facing lounge seats to leisurely bask in the sun. Standard on all SDXs, the broad swim platform makes it easy to prepare watersports equipment or go for a refreshing swim.

The SDX 250s and SDX 270s include a starboard compartment that can be used to store life jackets, towels and other bulky items. For uninterrupted time on the water, the space can be upgraded to a head complete with a sink and countertop. Similarly, the SDX 290s feature a convenient port compartment that can also be used for storage or upgraded to a head with a sink and countertop.

At the SDX helm, advanced technologies provide effortless control. The helm is equipped with a Digital Dash, showcasing a standard 9-inch Simrad® touchscreen display (optional on the SDX 290; dual 9-inch NSX® displays are standard on the SDX 250 Surf and SDX 270 Surf). Other tech highlights include a Fusion® audio system and Active Trim control and monitoring.

Each SDX model is propelled by a Mercury® engine, delivering impressive performance. Boaters can choose sterndrive power options up to 430 horsepower or outboard options up to twin 250 hp Verado® V8s. Exhibiting innovative wakesurfing systems, the SDX 250 Surf and SDX 270 Surf are powered by standard Mercury MerCruiser® 6.2L engines with forward-facing Bravo Four S® drives, contra-rotating props, SmartCraft® technology and DTS. These forwardfacing drives make the boats ideal for wakesurfing and improve maneuverability when docking or traveling at low speeds.

Sea Ray SDX 250 Surf

Additionally, the SDX 250 Surf and SDX 270 Surf are outfitted with intuitive NextWave™ surf systems that generate repeatable, rideable waves for wakesurfing and other thrilling watersports. The SDX surf transom is tapered to produce a clean wave while electric surf tabs, Active Trim and three ballast tanks control the height of the wave and produce a long or short pocket. These models are also equipped with a Sea Ray custom surf interface powered by Mercury Smart Tow®, featuring three pre-set modes for surfing, wakeboarding and skiing/tubing, or boaters can use the visual display to adjust the settings with the touch of a button to accommodate riders of all skill levels.

Available as an upgrade exclusive to the SDX 250 Surf and SDX 270 Surf, boaters can select the Highline Appearance Package, offering a two-tone exterior color scheme, special interior upholstery stitching and SeaDek® flooring pattern enhancements. In addition, boaters can choose to upgrade their SDX to match their preferences with popular option Bundles and Packages.

The Sea Ray SDX is a proven performer. The model line merges the best aspects of sport boats and deck boats, providing a stylish, high-performance option that meets the evolving needs of today’s discerning boaters.

mastering INSHORE FISHING

Expert Tips for Choosing the Right Boat and Catching More Fish.

CHOOSING THE BEST BOAT FOR INSHORE FISHING

Selecting the right boat for inshore fishing can make all the difference in your experience. Here are some of the best options for navigating shallow waters and maximizing your catch:

Bay Boats: These versatile boats are perfect for fishing a variety of inshore waters. With a shallow draft, spacious deck, and plenty of storage, they’re ideal for targeting redfish, snook, and trout in coastal flats and estuaries.

Flats Boats: Designed specifically for skinny water, flats boats allow anglers to access shallow areas where larger boats cannot go. They often feature poling platforms for stealthy approaches to wary fish.

Skiffs: Lightweight and highly maneuverable, skiffs are great for solo or small-group anglers exploring mangroves, tidal creeks, and backwaters.

Center Consoles: A popular choice for inshore and nearshore anglers, center consoles provide 360-degree fishability, stability, and the ability to handle choppier conditions when needed.

ESSENTIAL GEAR FOR INSHORE FISHING

To make the most of your inshore fishing trips, having the right gear is crucial:

FINDING FISH AND MAXIMIZING SUCCESS

Understanding fish behavior and location is key to inshore fishing success. Consider these factors:

Rod and Reel: A 7- to 8-foot medium to medium-light spinning rod paired with a 2500-4000 size reel is ideal for most inshore species.

Line and Leader: Braided line (10-20 lb. test) provides strength and sensitivity, while a fluorocarbon leader (15-30 lb. test) ensures abrasion resistance in clear water.

Artificial Lures: Soft plastics, topwater plugs, and suspending twitchbaits are great for covering water and enticing strikes.

Live Bait: Shrimp, pilchards, and mullet are top choices for many inshore species.

Tides and Currents: Moving water stimulates feeding activity. Fish often position themselves near structure or in current breaks where bait is naturally funneled.

Structure and Cover: Mangroves, oyster bars, docks, grass flats, and sand potholes all provide excellent habitat for inshore fish.

Baitfish Presence: If you see baitfish flickering on the surface or birds diving, predatory fish are likely nearby.

PROVEN TECHNIQUES FOR TARGETING INSHORE SPECIES

Each species requires a slightly different approach, but these techniques will improve your chances of landing a trophy catch:

Sight Fishing for Redfish

Redfish often roam shallow flats, making them ideal for sight fishing. Look for wakes or tailing fish in calm waters and make a precise cast ahead of their path. Use soft plastics or live shrimp rigged on a weedless hook to avoid snagging grass.

Dock Fishing for Snook

Snook love hanging around dock pilings, where they ambush bait. Skipping a soft plastic paddle tail or live bait under docks can yield great results. Be ready for a powerful fight as snook quickly head for cover once hooked.

Topwater Action for Speckled Trout

Trout are aggressive feeders and will readily strike topwater lures during low-light conditions. Early morning and late afternoon are prime times to walk-the-dog with a topwater plug over grass flats.

Live Bait Drifting for Tarpon

When targeting tarpon, drifting live mullet or crabs along deep channels and bridge pilings can be highly effective. Be prepared for a long battle, as tarpon are known for their aerial displays and brute strength.

STEALTH & PRESENTATION MATTER

Inshore fish are often wary, especially in clear water and shallow conditions. To increase your chances of success, keep these tips in mind:

Stay Quiet: Avoid unnecessary noise by shutting off your motor and using a push pole or trolling motor to navigate.

Make Long Casts: The farther you can place your lure or bait from the boat, the less likely you are to spook fish.

Use Natural Colors: Match the hatch by selecting lures that resemble local baitfish.

Adjust Your Retrieve: Sometimes a slow, steady retrieve works best, while other times erratic twitches trigger more strikes.

Scout 251 XSS
Aquila 28 Molokai

CONSERVATION & RESPONSIBLE FISHING PRACTICES

Sustaining healthy inshore fisheries requires responsible angling. Follow these best practices to ensure future generations can enjoy the same great fishing:

Catch and Release: If practicing catch and release, handle fish with wet hands, use a dehooking tool, and minimize air exposure.

Respect Size and Bag Limits: Adhere to local regulations to protect fish populations.

Use Circle Hooks: These hooks reduce deep hooking and improve survival rates for released fish.

Minimize Habitat Damage: Avoid anchoring on grass flats and dispose of fishing line properly.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Mastering inshore fishing takes time, patience, and a willingness to adapt to changing conditions. By understanding fish behavior, using the right gear, and choosing the right boat for the job, you can increase your success and make every trip more enjoyable. Whether you’re targeting redfish on the flats, snook under docks, or tarpon in deep channels, applying these pro secrets will help you land more fish and create unforgettable memories on the water.

So, grab your rod, hop in the right boat, and start putting these tips into action—your next inshore fishing adventure awaits!

WINS THE RACE TO FUN

Former Speed Enthusiasts Find Joy in Leisurely Cruising with Their Harris.

Terry and Kimberly Wright grew up in Southern California with jet boats and a need for speed, but their latest watercraft, a 2023 Harris Cruiser 230 is different, and they couldn’t be happier.

“We’re more laid back now,” said Kimberly. “We’ll get the paddleboards out, find a cove and enjoy the day, we don’t need to go, go, go anymore.”

But don’t mistake slowing down for complacency.

One reason the Wright’s purchased this boat is to trail it and explore other bodies of water beyond their home base in Florida. One of their favorite trips was along the Tennessee River.

The couple based their adventure out of Hales Bar Marina and Resort located about 20 minutes from Chattanooga along Nickajack Lake and the Tennessee River, where they could tie the boat up near their floating cabin. Each morning they grabbed ice and topped

off the tank before heading out to scout the area that included forest scenery, sheer cliffs and lots of surprises, including traversing locks.

“On windy days in Florida you’re fighting the waves. By contrast, the Tennessee River is very flat, calm and pristine, it’s a totally different environment,” said Terry.

And that’s where the stability and power of the Harris Cruiser gave the couple the confidence to get off the beaten path. Power and enhanced maneuverability came from an upgraded 200 hp V6 Mercury engine with digital steering and throttle. Enhanced monitoring capabilities came from the integrated Mercury VesselView system that displays rpm, speed, fuel flow and efficiency, oil temperature and pressure, water temperature, and more. Terry can monitor battery levels and engine hours and even keep track of when engine maintenance is due.

With the upgraded horsepower and Mercury’s comprehensive engine management system, Terry had no qualms about traveling 60 plus miles from their base camp, something he would never do with a less powerful engine and monitoring solution.

Simrad electronics serve as the central navigation hub of the Harris boat and were a major selling point for Terry, who relied on the system to plan and navigate the trip through unfamiliar waters. Dash-mounted multifunction displays (MFDs) create the onboard control center. With the Simrad GO touchscreens, he could access detailed charting information, view engine data from the integrated Mercury VesselView, and control audio entertainment. A particularly valuable feature of the Simrad display system is its split-screen capability, allowing Terry to view his navigation chart on one screen while monitoring sonar readings or depth information on the second display.

“Most pontoons don’t come with a 7” Simrad. I loved looking at the maps and depth,” he said. “At one point the Simrad showed the section called “The Pan” was 133 feet deep, which is kind of scary when you think about it in a river gorge.”

For the Wrights, the Harris Cruiser is also the perfect craft to tool around closer to their home in Navarre. Last summer the pair took the extended family out for the day. The guests included Terry’s parents and the couple’s two daughters, Brittany and Emily, and their families. There were plenty of comfortable Seastar Standard 22’ seats with ultra soft yet extremely durable vinyl upholstery for the group of 10. The boat handled beautifully and didn’t feel weighted down with all the guests, bags and coolers.

Nana and Papa, who aren’t boat people, loved floating near the sandbar at Crab Island and just hanging out. When the sun becomes too much, the sturdy, wide-step boarding ladder extended deep into the water making it easy to get back in the boat. Fenders around the back offer strategic handholds providing added stability when climbing aboard. Onboard standard double canvas bimini covers allow everyone to enjoy some shade.

The boat is a perfect way to entertain their grandchildren too. Desilu (12), Russell (10), Austin (5) and Aiden (3) come for a week each summer. They tube in the mornings and cruise in the afternoons. The generously sized rear swim platform extends beyond the pontoons, creating an ideal water access point for the kids. Special textured decking ensures no one slips while jostling to be the first in. Kimberly can convert the back seats into a comfortable rear facing sun lounger to watch the kids.

The youngest grandchild, Aiden, spends most of the time on “his boat’ in grandfather Terry’s lap, helping drive. The reclining helm chair means there is room for two. The Harris’ tri-toon ensures a smooth ride for the young captain, even when it gets a little windy.

The choice to slow down and go with the Harris Cruiser has been about more than the vessel. MarineMax sales consultant “Canyon (Clevenger) is my boat son,” said Kimberly. “And we love that whenever we bring our boat for routine service at MarineMax, we are treated like “family.”

Where adventure meets efficiency: Aquila’s new 42 and 46 Coupe Power Catamarans

There’s a moment when you step aboard the right boat—something just clicks. That perfect balance of space, style, and functionality that makes you think, “This is exactly what boating should be.” That’s the magic Aquila has captured with their Coupe Series.

“The Coupe series fills that perfect gap between a sport boat and yacht. It’s for people who’ve outgrown their day boats but don’t need a full-size yacht,” says Jean Raas, chief product officer & chief executive officer of Aquila USA.

REVOLUTIONARY EFFICIENCY

What sets the Coupes apart is the Aquila Hydro Glide Foil System™, standard on both the 42 and 46 Coupe models.

“We saw incredible results with foils on our 36 Sport— upwards of 35% improved fuel efficiency,” explains Raas. “Those dramatic improvements led us to make the Aquila Hydro Glide Foil System standard equipment on all Coupe models.”

This isn’t your America’s Cup hydrofoil that lifts the entire boat out of water. It’s more practical—a carbon-fiber fixed foil spanning between the catamaran’s hulls that delivers remarkable efficiency without requiring expert handling.

At cruise speed of 30-45 mph, the Aquila 42 Coupe with outboards & foils achieves 1.0 to 0.8 mpg—a 30% improvement over the non-foil version and nearly double the efficiency of comparable monohull competitors. The larger 46 shows similar advantages, maintaining efficiency of 0.7 mpg at 33-45 mph with outboards, pair either boat with the Volvo Penta DPI inboards in lieu of outboard engines and efficiency increases to 1.1 to 1.3 mpg.

Beyond fuel savings, the foil system significantly reduces engine wear and tear by lightening the load during operation. By improving hydrodynamics and

reducing drag, the engines don’t need to work as hard to maintain speed, extending their service life and potentially lowering long-term maintenance costs.

EFFICIENCY THAT TRANSFORMS ADVENTURES

What does this mean in real-world terms? For Great Lakes boaters, it means traversing from Chicago to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with fewer fuel stops. For Northeast boaters, it enables longer trips around Long Island Sound. Florida boaters can enjoy extended Bahamas crossings without constant refueling concerns.

NOTICE: Information in this performance report is approximate and subject to many variables. It is provided as a guideline only and should not be relied upon as representative of actual performance. Your Aquila vessel’s performance will likely vary based on environmental conditions and vessel-specific factors.

“When we calculated the difference, the results were eye-opening,” notes Raas. “Over a typical summer of weekend cruising, you’re looking at thousands in fuel cost savings. But more importantly, you’re spending less time at fuel docks and more time exploring.”

The comparison charts are clear: at virtually every speed, the Aquila Coupes with foils outperform both traditional monohulls and competing power catamarans.

LUXURY IN THE DETAILS

Step aboard either model and the first thing you notice is space. The 46 Coupe boasts an impressive 17’11” beam, while the 42 comes in at 15’11”, creating living areas that feel like they belong on much larger vessels.

Both models feature beautifully appointed cabins, each with en-suite bathrooms and separate showers—a luxury typically reserved for larger yachts. The 46 Coupe features a cockpit bar window perfect for entertaining, while both models offer sheltered bow lounges ideal for sunset gatherings.

The versatile design allows you to transition seamlessly from open-air paradise to fully enclosed retreat. Sun worshippers will love the expansive decks, while those seeking shade can retreat to the comfortable salon or extend the optional electric aft cockpit shade for more enjoyment outside. With single-level main deck layouts and double stepped hulls, these power catamarans deliver on both comfort and performance.

POWER OPTIONS

Both models come with flexible propulsion options. The 46 Coupe comes standard with twin 600hp Mercury Verado V12’s or optional twin 480hp Volvo Penta DPI diesel inboards. While the 42 Coupe comes standard with twin 400hp Mercury Verado V10’s or optional 400hp Volvo Penta DPI diesel inboard engines. The versatile engine options, whether outboard or inboards, are suited to meet your boating needs. Combined with the revolutionary foil system, these configurations deliver class-leading fuel efficiency and range.

“ The Coupe series fills that perfect gap between a sport boat and yacht. It’s for people who’ve outgrown their day boats but don’t need a full-size yacht.”
JEAN RAAS

“Getting the foil right wasn’t easy,” Raas admits. “The material, shape, positioning—it all matters. We spent years testing before making it standard equipment.”

The result? You’ll travel farther while burning less fuel— whether you’re cruising from New York Harbor to Maine, traversing the Intracoastal Waterway, islandhopping through the Florida Keys, or tackling America’s Great Loop.

WHERE POSSIBILITIES BEGIN

Who says you must choose? The Aquila 42 and 46 Coupe power catamarans deliver sport boat thrills with yacht comforts and no compromises.

Whether it’s hidden coves in the San Juan Islands, waterfront restaurants on Lake Michigan just beyond your previous boat’s range, or extended cruises through the Great Lakes, the Coupes make these journeys not just possible, but enjoyable.

For boaters more interested in the destination than bragging rights—but who still appreciate turning heads when pulling into the marina—the Coupes deliver efficiency with style.

The 42 and 46 Coupe Power Catamarans debuted at the Miami International Boat Show, with the 46 Coupe receiving the 2025 YACHT STYLE Award in the “Power Catamaran Under 15m” category. The Volvo Penta DPI inboard versions will make their European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025.

Contact your local MarineMax dealer to learn about how these remarkable boats might change your time on the water.

Equal parts refined and ready-for-anything, the Coupe power catamarans deliver the exhilaration of an open-air sport boat combined with the sophisticated comforts of a yacht—perfect for those who like their escapes with a bit more style and a lot more freedom.

A BOLD NEW CHAPTER

Cruisers Yachts Ushers in a New Era in American-Built Flybridge Yachts

Cruisers Yachts has built a legacy on American craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and serious on-water performance. With the launch of its new FLY Series, the brand is ushering in a bold evolution by introducing a full line of luxury flybridge yachts built for elevated living, global appeal, and long-distance comfort.

The first look at this exciting new chapter comes in the form of the 57 FLY, a flagship that sets the tone for the entire series. But make no mistake: this isn’t a one-off innovation. The FLY Series represents an intentional expansion in how Cruisers defines luxury, both visually and functionally, bringing vertical space, flybridge utility, and modern design language into the spotlight.

A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON CRUISING

Flybridge yachts are admired for their commanding views, versatile layouts, and strong presence on the water. The FLY Series marks the brand’s commitment to delivering an entirely new level of lifestyle experience— one that emphasizes social space, sunlight, and seamless indoor-outdoor integration across multiple decks.

Each model in the upcoming lineup will follow the same DNA: wide-open layouts, sleek architectural design, and a premium blend of performance and comfort. With the debut of the 57 FLY, Cruisers is showing how it intends to be a leader in this competitive segment of luxury yachts. Future models are expected to reflect a similar approach to space, design, and adaptability while staying true to the company’s identity.

SIGNATURE DESIGN WITH GLOBAL INFLUENCE

The new FLY Series introduces a refreshed interior aesthetic, spearheaded by renowned designer Luiz De Basto. Known for his superyacht portfolio, De Basto brings a global sensibility to the interiors, such as introducing curved edges and soft color palettes that reflect natural tones. This sleek and modern look will be consistently seen across the Cruisers Yachts portfolio moving forward.

Inside, the layout reflects open-concept sensibilities while reimagining how natural light and space can be used across multiple levels. Expansive windows and spacious staterooms with generous headroom define the interior, while separation of living zones allows for entertaining and private retreat.

Owners will find layouts that balance form and function with the ability to personalize features to suit their cruising lifestyle—whether hosting guests, traveling long-range, or enjoying quiet weekend escapes. Every detail is considered to enhance time on the water, including the flow of traffic between decks and thoughtful placement of social areas.

DESIGNED WITH PRACTICALITY AND CONTROL

Reliable performance and ergonomic comfort are longstanding pillars of Cruisers Yachts’ design philosophy. The FLY Series continues that tradition with propulsion options that prioritize responsive handling and efficiency. The 57 FLY, for example, is powered by twin Volvo Penta 950 IPS engines and equipped with joystick docking, allowing for confident operation in a range of conditions.

Technology integration also plays a key role with touchscreen navigation, digital switching, and climate control systems supporting a comfortable and modern onboard experience. These features help create a seamless connection between boater and vessel, enhancing both safety and enjoyment.

The veranda, bow lounge, and swim platform are configured with versatility in mind, supporting everything from day boating and entertaining to extended overnight cruising. This multi-use functionality underscores the FLY Series’ focus on practical luxury.

MADE IN AMERICA, READY FOR THE WORLD

Like all models, the FLY Series are built in Wisconsin, where Cruisers Yachts has operated since 1953. The company’s ongoing investment in U.S. based manufacturing continues to drive production capabilities, workforce development, and product innovation.

With this expansion into the flybridge series, Cruisers offers a new American-built option for boaters seeking more space, functional layouts, and contemporary styling in a category often associated with European builders.

THE 57 FLY: DEFINING THE DIRECTION

As the first model in the series, the 57 FLY introduces the core principles of the FLY Series. Its flybridge includes a helm station, ample seating, and wet bar, with optional Kenyon Texan grill, creating a multi-functional upper deck with panoramic views. The main deck flows into salon and galley spaces designed for entertaining, while the lower level offers a three-stateroom, two-head layout with a full-beam owner’s suite and guest accommodations. Thoughtful design elements throughout the yacht include a fold-down veranda balcony that extends the main deck’s connection to the water, a bow lounge with adjustable sunpad seats for customizable relaxation, a comfortable bench and removable tables that create the perfect atmosphere for day or night, and a hydraulic lowering transom platform for effortless boarding and water access with convenient storage and an accessible day head—or an optional aft crew quarters to support longer journeys.

This model also showcases the level of fit and finish Cruisers Yachts has become known for, with attention to detail across upholstery, cabinetry, lighting, and customizable features.

LOOKING AHEAD

The FLY Series is a strategic step forward for Cruisers Yachts. While the 57 FLY offers the first example of what’s possible, additional models are in development and expected to follow the same core values: smart layouts, cohesive design, and an emphasis on onboard comfort.

As preferences continue to evolve toward livable, multifunctional yachts, the FLY Series extends the Cruisers Yachts legacy into a new dimension, inviting boaters to explore elevated cruising, American craftsmanship, and new possibilities on the water.

The Galeon Yachts and Meyer Shank Racing Partnership

In a dynamic fusion of two high-performance worlds, Galeon Yachts has announced a new partnership with Meyer Shank Racing (MSR), marking a significant alignment between luxury yachting and elite motorsport. This collaboration will span the 2025 and 2026 racing seasons, bringing together brands celebrated for their commitment to innovation, engineering excellence, and a shared drive for perfection.

At first glance, yachting and racing might seem like vastly different pursuits—one anchored in the power of the open water, the other fueled by the intensity of the track. But beneath the surface, they’re united by shared core principles: precise control, a focus on high performance, and design ingenuity. The Galeon–MSR partnership highlights these parallels, creating a platform where craftsmanship and competition intersect in bold, exciting ways.

PARALLEL PURSUITS OF PERFORMANCE

Galeon Yachts has built its reputation on delivering exceptional motor yachts, known for bold styling, innovative layouts, and impeccable construction. With over 40 years of shipbuilding experience, Galeon’s name has become synonymous with European luxury and cutting-edge design. From dynamic fold-out “Beach Mode” balconies to versatile cockpit solutions, each yacht reflects a deep understanding of the modern boater’s expectations.

Meyer Shank Racing, meanwhile, brings decades of success across some of the most demanding circuits in motorsport. MSR operates two full-time programs: the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In INDYCAR, the team competes with two Honda-powered entries, while in IMSA, MSR fields a pair of Acura LMDh hybrid prototypes—both examples of the pinnacle of modern race engineering.

This dual commitment to high-performance machinery, whether for sea or land, sets the stage for a natural collaboration. As both organizations rely on innovation to stay competitive, the partnership is rooted in a mutual understanding of what it takes to lead in their respective arenas.

A SHARED LANGUAGE OF INNOVATION

While yachts and race cars operate in different elements, the design philosophies behind them often overlap. Both require precise weight distribution, aerodynamic or hydrodynamic efficiency, and advanced materials engineered for strength and speed. Through this partnership, there is an opportunity for cross-pollination of ideas between Galeon’s marine designers and MSR’s motorsport engineers. Technology plays a critical role in both yachting and motorsport, as principles that work through air can also be applied through water. This exchange of expertise creates a fascinating dynamic that can inform future designs in both industries.

Yachting has long borrowed aesthetic and functional elements from the automotive world, and Galeon’s design language often reflects those influences. Sleek lines, aggressive profiles, and intuitive controls echo the cockpit of a performance vehicle, giving the operator a commanding, connected feel. The Galeon–MSR partnership shines a light on those similarities while opening new doors for exploration.

WHERE LUXURY MEETS LEGACY

For both brands, the experience extends far beyond specifications and performance metrics. Meyer Shank Racing is celebrated not only for its technical achievements but also for fostering a strong team culture and building deep connections with fans. Likewise, Galeon Yachts creates more than just vessels—it crafts lifestyle experiences and a sense of community.

This collaboration represents a shared commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to a discerning audience. Just as MSR drivers rely on split-second precision and dependable handling, Galeon owners expect intuitive performance paired with elevated craftsmanship—two sides of the same coin. Attention to detail, superior workmanship, and user-focused design remain central values for both organizations.

PASSION AS A COMMON THREAD

While technology and performance are critical, the Galeon–MSR partnership is equally grounded in the passion of the people who bring these machines to life. From the crew members fine-tuning an IndyCar before race day to the artisans completing a yacht’s interior, both worlds are driven by individuals dedicated to their craft.

This shared emotional connection—to speed, freedom, and engineering mastery—fuels strong loyalty within their communities and creates a natural bridge between the brands. The partnership goes beyond selling machines; it’s about inspiring a lifestyle defined by excellence and passion.

LOOKING AHEAD

Looking ahead, the partnership between Galeon Yachts and Meyer Shank Racing represents a longterm commitment to blending innovation with lifestyle. This alliance unites enthusiasts across both worlds, celebrating shared values, complementary expertise, and a unified vision for the future. At its core, the Galeon–MSR collaboration is about more than machines. It promises to drive creativity and elevate experiences well beyond the seasons ahead. Whether in the fast lane or cruising offshore, it’s clear that excellence knows no bounds.

beyond the water: MARINEMAX BUILDS FUTURES WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

For MarineMax, supporting Habitat isn’t just tradition—it’s a reflection of their

FUTURES HUMANITY

their core values in action.

MarineMax is known for connecting people with life on the water, but their commitment to community goes far beyond boating. Through a longstanding partnership with Habitat for Humanity, MarineMax is helping families lay a different kind of foundation, one built on stability, opportunity, and hope. This year, MarineMax is proud to support not one, but two families as they work toward homeownership in Habitat’s first-ever townhome development.

What sets this initiative apart is how deeply MarineMax team members have embraced the mission. Employees from various departments and locations have stepped away from their day-to-day roles to roll up their sleeves on the job site. From framing walls to painting interiors, they’ve come together to build homes with the same energy and pride they bring to their customers every day. It’s a powerful reminder that the MarineMax culture is built not just on service and excellence but also on compassion, teamwork, and a belief in lifting others up.

“We truly value our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, which gives us the opportunity to give back to the community that has supported our company in so many ways,” said Beth Garland, Senior Vice President of People Strategy at MarineMax. “Our team members look forward to the build days every year, and we all love meeting the families and working alongside them to help make their housing dreams a reality.”

That same spirit of giving carries into the holiday season, when MarineMax creates Thanksgiving baskets for Habitat families past and present. Every year, the office fills with warmth and gratitude as families return to pick up their baskets, many with children in tow who’ve grown since we first met them. These reunions are a meaningful reminder of the lasting bonds formed through this partnership and the ripple effects of building not just homes, but relationships and community.

Each year, the MarineMax team gets to know the families they’re building alongside, and their stories are powerful reminders of why this work matters. Two of this year’s future homeowners, Elizabeth Gray and Carla Futch, exemplify the strength, resilience, and hope at the heart of the Habitat mission.

“This is about more than just a house, it’s about showing my girls what we can accomplish together and what’s possible when people care enough to help.”
ELIZABETH GRAY

For Elizabeth Gray, a preschool director and single mother of three daughters, homeownership once felt out of reach. After years of living in stressful conditions, first in her parents’ crowded home and then in a rental plagued by ongoing issues. Elizabeth knew she needed something better for her daughters: Leah, Brielle, and Raylyn. She found it through Habitat for Humanity, along with the support of volunteers like those from MarineMax, who are helping bring her dream to life.

Carla Futch, a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician and mother of eight, has also worked tirelessly to provide a better life for her family. With children ranging in age from 16 to 24, including triplets entering 11th grade, Carla’s motivation has always come from her kids. She’s juggled long work weeks and rising rental costs while preparing herself for this opportunity. “I wanted to be able to provide

for them and finally give them a home,” she said. “My house will be where I can create memories with my children and family.”

She hopes to leave her children with more than just a roof over their heads, she’s focused on building a legacy. “I will provide generational wealth for my children so they can always have a place to call home,” she said.

For MarineMax, this isn’t just a charitable project. It’s a company-wide commitment to making lives better, starting in their own communities. It’s about showing up, pitching in, and building something meaningful together. The teamwork on display during these builds—and the relationships sustained long after—reflect the same spirit that drives MarineMax every day: when people come together with purpose and heart, incredible things happen.

DISTINCTION pure

Ocean Alexander’s Puro 35M blends global elegance with unshakable seaworthiness.

In the ever-evolving world of luxury yachting, few names command the same respect as Ocean Alexander. With the introduction of the Puro line, beginning with the striking 35M, Ocean Alexander once again redefines what it means to build a yacht with soul, substance, and style.

“Puro,” the Italian word for “pure,” is more than a name. It’s the guiding principle behind the design philosophy of this groundbreaking series. Developed for a truly global audience, the 35 Puro avoids fleeting trends and instead embraces enduring craftsmanship, iconic design, and purpose-driven engineering.

At the heart of the Puro’s visual identity is the mind of Giorgio M. Cassetta, the celebrated Italian designer whose firm is known for elegant lines and timeless form. “The 35 Puro is the distilled outcome of a blend of cultures,” says Cassetta. “It merges the yard’s expertise with our obsessive attention to proportions, detail, and volume, and above all, our clients’ expectations.”

From a distance, the 35M Puro commands attention with its chiseled, sculptural presence. But it’s up close where the yacht truly reveals itself. Step aboard and you’re greeted by a flow of spaces that feel equally suited for lavish entertaining and intimate reflection. Expansive lounges, wide teak decks, and panoramic views create a sense of openness, while refined detailing adds a layer of quiet sophistication.

Inside, the atmosphere is one of elegant restraint— luxury without ostentation. Rich materials are paired with thoughtful design to maximize both comfort and functionality. Every corner, every surface speaks to Ocean Alexander’s dedication to flawless execution and enduring quality.

Beneath the surface, the 35M Puro is engineered for serious performance. Developed in collaboration with Andrea Agrusta of NavalHEAD, the yacht offers unwavering seaworthiness, world-class stability, and the range to support far-reaching voyages. Whether navigating the Med or island-hopping in the Caribbean, this is a yacht that inspires confidence in any conditions.

And that’s the beauty of the Puro line. It’s not tied to any one market, trend, or lifestyle. It’s a vessel for those who seek purity in form and function, for those who believe that a yacht should be more than a floating status symbol. It should be a masterpiece in motion.

With the launch of the 35M Puro, Ocean Alexander continues its legacy of pushing boundaries, not by following the industry’s lead, but by setting the benchmark for what’s next.

Welcome aboard Puro. This is yachting, distilled to its finest form.

INTRODUCING THE FUN ISLAND

Revealing an innovative and environmentally respectful spirit, the Azimut Seadeck Series embodies the desire to return to nature through a holistic concept developed to maximize contact with the sea. By merging technological solutions with a ‘conscious’ design philosophy that elevates well-being, this ideal family motor yacht consolidates Azimut’s longstanding low-emission vision, simultaneously introducing generous spaces and the Fun Island, an unprecedented water-level outdoor lounge offering an immersive ocean experience.

Advanced hull designs, therefore, combine with alternative or full-hybrid propulsion systems and an extensive use of carbon fiber, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 40%. On board, systems also guarantee reduced energy use, while natural and recycled materials redefine luxury for a truly harmonious lifestyle in touch with the marine environment.

SEADECK SERIES. GENTLE AT SEA.
