Roosevelt Park provides an oasis for residents and visitors of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Named after President Franklin Roosevelt’s mother in 1934, the park provides a space for senior citizens, children, a diverse population, as well as attracting artists and young professionals to the area. The park also offers a variety of activities and facilities to its visitors.

The Marketplace at Chrystie and Grand has a predominantly glass envelope, and anchored by dark toned concrete for contrast. The structure has natural lumber accents for warmth, and greenery can be found throughout the walkways and roof.
