In addition, we would also love to give our gratitude to all who supported our online fund raising to reach the highest accomplishment of this project and outreach as many students as we can. PROJECT PROPOSAL Project Summary Project Title: CHK Pantry Goal: Our goal is to aid our working and in need students in our College of Human Kinetics in Benguet State of University.

Rationale: In amidst of pandemic, people all over the world has suffered a great damage on their everyday lives. People have started encountering the struggle of making a living and the difficulty of putting a plate of food on the table for their families. So much more with students that are independent and working while studying for a better future. Many researches have proven already that students that are working can have a positive effect on their characters, such as independence and problem-solving. But it has also a critical negative effect on students that are facing grave financial stability. Such effects are higher risk of dropping out, delayed graduation rates, and negative effects on academic performance. How much more with the pandemic today that causes a lot of people's financial stability to drop down remarkably. And that is why, we exclusive first year students of the Bachelor of Physical Education took advantage of our subject NSTP to implement a community kindness to our fellow students. We desired to help our fellow students that are working while fighting to finished the course of their dreams and encourage them that they are not fighting all alone in this epidemic. We may only be a small group, but we believe that simply reaching a person in this world can make a lot of changes in the world's future, so much more with numerous people.

Project Details Target People: CHK Working and In Need Students Targeted Number of Students: Minimum of 10 students Targeted Collection in Fund Raising: Minimum of 10,000 pesos Requirements to Receive Goods: (1) Letter/Certificate of Recognition that they are working students from their work company (2) Student ID that they are students of CHK (3) Approved Ticket to avail free groceries in BSU (Ticket will be given once passed the google form questionnaire)

Cake Pop Recipe: Oven Recipe 1 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour 2 cups granulated white sugar 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 tsp baking soda 3/4 teaspoon salt 2 large eggs 1 cup buttermilk or substitute by putting 1 tbsp white vinegar in a cup then filling the rest up with milk; let stand 5 minutes until thickened 1/2 cup butter melted 1tbsp vanilla extract 1 cup hot coffee or 2 tsp of instant coffee in 1 cup boiling water Churros Recipe: 8 cups water 8 cups All purpose flour 3/4 butter/margarine 4 tsp salt 1 1/2 cup sugar 8 eggs 250grams chocolate bar 1 pack of milk

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION OUTPUT A. Monitoring and Evaluation What Went Well/Positive Impacts

Needs Improvement/Problems Encountered 75% individuals in the group Problem encountered is that are participating properly 35% individuals in the group and communicates with the are barely participating and bare minimum needed to doesn’t give simplest relay information's. communication to achieve bond of understanding of each person's role and schedules, resulting one individual revoked in the group and last warnings to two other individuals.

Members are hard to connect with, and absent specially in meetings online and special events like baking because of work and other reasons.

Other member’s observation are lack of time management to be able to participate properly on group events.

Recommendations A must recommendation in this kind of project is gaining people who is voluntarily and wilfully kind hearted so they can give efforts to the fullest even in the simplest act and are responsible in its given work.

It is best to keep everyone updated to keep everyone’s schedule is met at the right day and time. That is why meetings and announcements are very important for everyone to attend to so there are no crashing of schedules.

Every member must learn how to have proper time management.

B. Proponent’s Reflection Trough this NSTP project, we have gained a lot of experience, from being a leader, to being a member. We have a lot different perspectives on what we have seen and contributed in this group, but we all have almost the same lessons we have picked up on our journey. We can say that the feelings we have caught are overwhelming and we can conclude that we have enjoyed completing this project. We leaned a lot of things. We learned unity as a group is a crucial character our group needs to help each other in every step of our goals. We learned communication is our bridge to unity and understand each other of what role they have, what schedule has been set, what agenda will be met and many more.We also learned commitment is very important so everyone will truly participate in every events.

When we tried making this project, others felt lazy and keeps on reasoning, others felt like giving up because of frustrations piling up whenever unity is broken down, others felt exhausted of days working for the fund raising and many more. The hardships we encountered was surreal, like we felt like helping someone is also a hard work to complete.

You have to plan things out for things to be systematize and organize, look for member’s opinions and schedules, waking up early to find a ride, walking miles from town to houses, creating orders for the whole day non-stop, contacting costumers to order and deliver them from meet up places. But that just the fund raising event, the donation days are another matter.

But in the end we have survived all those challenges and gave us a sense of joy, especially when we saw our beneficiaries smiles. To simplify we have felt and understand the challenge of helping someone who are in need and we have learned to appreciate those who are also trying their best efforts to help who is in need. Creating a good deed looks easy, but we can say that the ones who are doing it has a strong heart and a long patience. And we are blessed to also understand the sense of joy of helping those who are in need and see them understand that there is hope is in this world.
