Each of them must demonstrate how each component helps in the redevelopment of the Bringingcity.the culture into the surface, using the civic spaces as venue to highlight this abounding culture is what we believe that could successfully used to revitalize Makati. Culture is a strong differentiating quality that defines any city. It is what makes a place distinct, and is manifested through food, fashion, art and language, among others.

5.020 REV-IT MAKATI: REVITALIZATION OF MAKATI

21
In a city filled with constant movement, walking -- a contributive factor to the generation of culture and civic life -- is a concept believed to be effective because it leads people to participate in the revitalization of the city. Walking transcends socioeconomic status as it allows citizens to actively experience the city, which in turn brings the place to life.

22
This is how the team wishes to translate the concept of walkability to Makati. To connect each spot with colors and invite the people to follow the line.

23 To fully support the walkability concept and integrate the different elements that make Makati a place, other proposals are being created to capitalize on these existing elements. Xeriscape planting was also introduced in order to support the strategies for LEED certification. Lap pool, kids’ pool and wading pool were constructed. UNDER: Ayalaland, Inc. 1.ROLES:Assists in the masterplanning of the estate 2. Assists in project design management of the estate

Found in the fringe of the metropolis, Cloverleaf is strategically located and carefully masterplanned to deliver greater mobility and convenience. Residents have access into the main city’s array of facilities and activities. In addition, they have the flexibility to get outside the city.

Different schemes have been prepared to meet both the financial goal and the best design for the site. With the information gathered such as the challenges and opportunities of the area, the planner has been able to derive a masterplan solution that is to provide uses for both the premier and mass markets.
48
Given the small, irregular shape of the land crossed by a creek in the middle, careful analysis and planning have been needed to fully utilize every sqm of the entire lot.

49
This architectural masterplan has been fully developed by an international consultant, well-managed to produce a good circulation throughout the site with the different uses that AyalaLand provided such as the mall, the retail spaces distributed in the area, residential condominiums of different brands , offices, hospital and terminals for different modes of transportation that make this development a transit- oriented and highly- connected development.

52
The major factor that was considered in the masterplanning of Altaraza is the topography. Pedestrianization, which connects the highway to the school at the center of the development, was also taken into consideration. Different schemes were prepared to come up with the best solution. A park was introduced at the northwestern corner of the property. It aims to catch the commuters from the terminal and tunnel them through a greenbelt towards the school and residential area. And to catch the rainwater that may stream outside the estate, a pond was located at the lowest portion of the development.
