PROJECT 1 IVORY & CO. LEVEL -1 MALTA
The existing Level -1 was converted to showcase each season’s ready-to-wear collection. The exhibit is the first space one enters into; an unexpected dark space coming down from a naturally well lit Level 0. Marble alcoves with live moss back panels create a focal point within the dark stained walnut tunnel, which directs the visitor into the main studio space. The light concrete floor, white washed walls and the play of marble and mirror contrast with the steel frames; a brightly lit space, with each element and mass complementing and highlighting the collection on display.

PROJECT 2 EY MALTA
The site of the offices is a well-lit corner site and hence the open office area was shifted to receive the maximum natural light for a better sense of physical and psychological well being. Appropriate surfaces and materials were chosen to maximize the reflection of natural light while artificial skylight lamps light up the workstations. Custom oak cabinetry, lounging areas and upholstered cocoons warm up the space and provide areas where smaller teams can gather to discuss, learn from each other, or give feedback in a more casual environment. Special attention has been given to acoustics with the introduction of sound absorbing soffits and desk partitions to mitigate distractions usually associated with open plan offices.

PROJECT 3 CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS MALTA
The redevelopment envisions a centre for the performing arts, a reinterpretation of the cultural reuse assigned for most of the fortresses around the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour. Composed of educational, residential and recreational facilities, the complex is to cultivate a community reminiscent of when the fortress was home to the many soldiers of war, their wives and children. Activity generated within the fortress is to culminate within the theatre, putting the students in the lime light and exposing their talents to the public. Whilst standing as a positive monument contributing to the small town of Kalkara a much needed identity, the theatre will in itself form part of a greater whole as a new celebration of the dramatic context in which it is located.

PROJECT 4 TARGA BATTERY RE-USE MALTA
The defense vs attack aspect one feels within a fort led to the choice of use to be a point of integration between ex-prisoners and the rest of society. The historical and promontory site serves as a point of interest. To add on to this attraction, an interactive garden and petting farm, manned by the ex-convicts themselves, will both serve as a social bridge with visitors which such users long for. A number of temporary residences are also provided on site, in which the ex-prisoners can live for until they settle back into society and start paving a way on their own.
