From 2D to 3D
In the dictionary the word creativity is the art or the ability to create and invent. For a child, every moment of life, starting from the first simple explorations, is a creative act that helps him to invent himself. According to Bruno Munari, creativity, invention and imagination work in memory, creating relationships between what one has learned, and creativity cannot exist without knowledge. Bruno Munari (October 24, 1907, Milan – September 30, 1998, Milan) was an Italian artist, designer, and inventor who contributed fundamentals to many fields of visual arts (painting, sculpture, film, industrial design, graphic design) in modernism, futurism, and concrete art, and in non-visual arts (literature, poetry) with his research on games, didactic method, movement, tactile learning, kinaesthetic learning, and creativity. The three rules of Munari’s approach have always been to know, to understand and to communicate, whether the subjects are related to art, design or planning a project.
