message from the organizing committee
Dear Participants, We cordially invite you to the next edition of Interdisciplinary Surgical Conference for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, which will be held on 09.09.2018 in Medical University of Lublin. Surgery, one of the most popular and demanding fields of medicine, has fascinated students for years, willing to report its secrets and train in surgical skills. To follow in the footsteps of outstanding surgeons, in aspects of theoretical knowledge as well as the improvement of surgical precision decide more and more graduates of Medical Universities around the world. The Interdisciplinary Surgical Conference for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students will be the culmination of Polish Surgical Summerschool. Participants of the conference will present practical achievements and listen to papers of undergraduate students and PhD students from all over the world. In addition to surgical passion, we would like to enable interdisciplinary discussions to surgical interventions, through sessions combined with medical, technical and humanistic disciplines. In this welcome package you will find the most important information about the agenda, the application process and the rules for submitting abstracts and the additional attractions of the Conference.  Interdisciplinary Surgical Conference  for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
During the Interdisciplinary Surgical Conference for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students young scientists from all over the world will have the opportunity to present their scientific achievements in the areas of treatment during two oral sessions and one poster. During the conference, you will be able to present scientific papers, reviews and cases reports - clinical cases. The official language of the conference is English. It is mandatory to prepare a multimedia presentation in English. It is possible to present and hold discussion in Polish. Additional points are granted for presenting and holding discussion in English. Organizers reserve the right to select works in the event of a large number of entries!

abstracts and presentations requirements
One active participant can submit MAXIMUM 3 presentations: up to 2 in oral sessions and 1 poster presentation. Limit of abstract words: 250. Please note the components of the abstract: For review / study works: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions. For case reports: Introduction, Case Study, Conclusion. The titles of the abstract sections, authors and main title are not taken into account in word counting. Presentations shall be in ppt or pdf format and sent to the Organizers until 01.09.2018.

registration Participation Costs:
80 PLN - active participation - entitles to present oral or poster presentation in English or Polish and to receive a certificate of presentation 50 PLN - passive participation, entitles to passive participation in the conference and to receive the certificate of participation Registration of Abstracts for the Conference will commence on 1st June 2018 and will last until 1st July 2018. Link to the application form In case of successful registration, you will receive an email with the details of the transfer - payment must be made by 15th July 2018. One active participant can submit up to 2 works in oral sessions and 1 poster work.

Medical University of Lublin is an advanced research and education center located in the heart of Eastern Poland. The organizational structure of the University consists of four units: I Faculty of Medicine with Department of Dentistry,II Faculty of Medicine with English Division, Faculty of Pharmacy with Department of Medical Analytics and Faculty of Health Sciences. As the first university in Poland, the University has introduced a new direction in biomedicine education. Clinical teaching is conducted in collaboration with three public hospitals and the Clinical Dental Center. The University provides its students with a wide range of opportunities to improve their clinical skills.
