Creative Brief

Objective

Be a unique comedy club by communicating exclusivity and style through branding content.

Concept

Presenting finest comedy talent, Ouvrard Club de ComĂŠdie is a French comedy club located in San Francisco. Inspired by the roots of French comedy and French art directions like art nouveau and art deco, the comedy club is designed to create a unique ambience comparable to a varietĂŠ theatre. Ouvrard is cooperating with the neighbouring restaurant Boulevard and offers a reduced Boulevard dinner menu and a full-service bar.

Creative Brief

Design

The Ouvrard experience differs a lot from all other comedy clubs in town.

Ouvrard is not the regular American comedy club. It is more of a Francophile variĂŠtĂŠ theatre hosting not only stand-up comedians, but also more acrobatic, original and elaborate artists. This concept is reflected in the design.

Elements of art deco, art nouveau and modern architecture create a unique interior design. Ouvrard is designed to have an outstanding branding design that stands out and differs from all other night clubs.

Audience

We are looking for urban males and females with household incomes over 80k per year. They like to enjoy themselves, go to restaurants, nightclubs and comedy clubs. They are willing to spend good money on good food and good entertainment. Our target group is well connected in San Francisco’s society and has a wide business network.
