Workshop 9 - Integral neghborood improvement
2021-01 | Degree Project
El Pesebre, Medellín, Colombia.
The project is based on the design premises proposed for the territory, which result from an investigative process on the line of integral improvement focused on the intervention and improvement of incompletely developed neighborhoods in hillside conditions, specifically located in the El Pesebre neighborhood.
These seek to direct this as a contemplative and sustainable territory, which promotes tourism and encourages appropriation through the commercial approach.
The project aims to be a point of ecological recovery of the land while discouraging the occupation of risk areas through ecological walks, at the time that generates a sustainable commercial transition that links the residential area of the unit with the more public area and touristic of it.

The proposal seeks to create an environment for the arts and sports in a digital way, seeking to be an inclusive environment that responds to innovation and is in line with the future projections of the city. Contributing to the new industries, which in addition to providing new experiences to the inhabitants of the city is also a boost for the tourist and economic growth of the city.
The objective of the project is to be a means for the development and inclusion of users in the dynamics of the place, both external and internal to it. From the architectural to function as an urban gate that allows passage and envelops the pedestrian promoting urban relationships through this.
