Managed the execution of works of more than 70,000 ft2 within the construction of a mega private school from the development of the civil structure, electrical, hydraulic and sanitary installations to the final finishes, ensuring compliance with the architectural design established by the designer firm.

Coordinated more than 15 contractors between the different construction stages of the project, including their payment through the use of tools such as EXCEL, optimizing the delivery times of payment reports to my superiors.

Developed new designs in the project finishes, without going against the general idea of​​ the designer, this in order to reduce the final cost of the budget by introducing different finishing materials, presenting detailed drawings of the ideas in Autocad and Sketchup for their approval before the designer.

Collaborate closely with the architectural designer to refine design modifications and select optimal metal carpentry designs and materials for the final finishes.

2019-2020

Supported the design, from the SD, DD, CD of a community church and a summer housing condominium together with the firm’s partner architect contributing innovative and versatile ideas to the final design.

Illustrated in Photoshop and InDesign the urban implementation of the summer housing condominium in order to obtain material for sales and presentation of the real estate project to potential clients.

Drew all the final plans in AutoCAD of the architectural design, from plans, sections, elevations and architectural details of the summer housing condominium real estate project and thus obtain the relevant construction permits for its development.

The project was initiated to fulfill the client’s vision of creating a warm and inviting social environment within their space, which will include three distinct areas: a dining room, a living room, and a dedicated reading and relaxation space. Additionally, the transformation of the spare room aims to maximize functionality, serving as both a guest room and a home office, thus offering flexibility to adapt to various needs.

The central concept driving this interior design project was to craft three distinct spaces within an open environment, strategically designed to impart a sense of expansive visual appeal. This configuration seamlessly integrates the social areas of the living room and dining room, while also addressing the client’s specific request for a dedicated space conducive to relaxation and reading.

To optimize the functionality of the guest room and avoid it being underutilized, a decision was made to incorporate a home office within the same space. Given the diverse activities to be accommodated in a limited area, adaptable features were introduced, including a wall-bed and a foldable, wallmounted desk. This configuration enables seamless transformation between a functional home office when the bed is stowed away and a welcoming guest room when the desk is folded up.

A project thought from two main axes that move the company- sales and the processes of elaboration of its product, for this reason the space starts from the equitable division of the total area and as a dividing axis the existing columns. CUBE LAMP Starting from the moddboard, they begin to generate objects that are the result of the combination of materials, in this way unique lamps were designed for the brand with expanded mesh painted yellow in the shape of a cube to generate rigidity, in addition to the mesh generating a didactic shadow out of the ordinary.

CHANTILLY CHAIR The design of the chair is born from the decomposition of a part of the bakery logo, as in this case the infinite roller, the idea is that the brand creates its own identity from unique and unrepeatable objects.

AMANTILLY CHAIR The Amantilly chair is designed based on the need to generate weather-resistant furniture, like the armchair, this chair is a unique piece of design designed to generate an identity for the brand and that, in turn, is easily recognized.

The yellow color takes center stage because it is the backbone of the image, in this particular case, the color is in the base and the back between woven plastic wicker, which in turn gives it a handmade finish.

The arch as the predominant figure, is also the result of the decomposition of the logo .

Bogotá D.C - Colombia 2015 Internal University Competition for private preschool design 2nd place

ARCHITECTURE

The Preschool Castle

To break with the existing typology in the sector and generate a visual impact, the design focused, especially in the introduction of color to create a space aimed at children. Likewise, the protection of the classrooms inside the entrance of direct solar radiation by means of the introduction of the Hunter Douglas Stripcreen panel at 45° in relation to the facade. Being a place especially for children, pastel colors were the protagonists of the project.

As the project is located in a central location with respect to the block, natural lighting was a challenge that was solved by means of a central opening to which a theme of geometric figures was integrated.

Educational Institution-Elementary, Middle and High school Cajicá - Colombia 2017 Final degree project

This megaproject was carried out with the purpose of providing the rural population of the area with a close educational structure that in turn will have all the services that children and young people need. The main thesis of the project was based on the application of the method of transitory active education within the architectural spaces in order to gradually change the traditional and anachronistic national pedagogy model that is governed in most of the public schools of the country.

A volumetrically simple project (Low cost project) but with an important bioclimatic function, this is because in the region where it was planted it is hot all year round, for which it was important to add the circulation of winds to keep the interior cool and give it a double packing for thermal transmission.

1. The concept of a double skin is present in the project due to the high temperatures that occur throughout the year in this region, the above in order to create thermal insulation and maintain a cool temperature inside the enclosure.

2. An entry of solar radiation is generated indirectly, this changing the position of the windows towards the sides of the building, thus complementing the heat insulation.
