This document tries to explain all the design process of 20m Spam Bridge. For the design process are necessary inspired in biotic elements, that’s to create an artiicial structure with biotic characteristics: BIOMIMETIC BRIDGE. In the beginning we evaluated a different biotic structures to can be useful, but to be a physically resistance, lightweight, and the most possible efficient. Within these options we choose a honey cane, the bird bones structure, the grasshopper, etc. After to do a force analysis of all of them, and start with the design process, we select the grasshopper structure for the structural elements, and the bones structure to the platform, in begging of the design process we had the idea to move the structural elements of the bridge, but next we to do the model of that we check if we want to move that’s elements we need to have a lot tension elements to generated more weight in the structures and minimize the efficient of the structure. And the end we choose to elevate the platform and to leave static the structural elements of bridge.

Also in the general design we add movement to the platform that’s to give to the bridge a capacity to stay in the navigation area. STRUCTURAL TEST. When we realize the forces Test, the structural system of the bridge hold 250kg, although the structure didn’t break, because the structural elements to work in tension support all the extra weight, but this condition generate that the platform suffered deeection and the springs to all the movement of the platform pass the elastic limit of the Hook’s Law
