GREER JONES WOODHAM
Artist and Art educator for over 40 years I retired to focus on my craft as an artist. Bringing full attention to my craft as a creative. My aim is to be able to use contemplative practice visually as a healing balm and as a means of resuscitating love and fellowship of my community, friends and family. My relationship to nature and all things beautiful was my own personal encounter with God. In responding to Nature, I came to understand my own frailty. I discovered healing not only on a physical level but a spiritual one. I was able to come home to me while surrendering the old for the new.

KAREN DE VERTEUIL
I have been painting seriously since 1991 when I attended a workshop with Dr. James Isiah Boodoo. Self-taught, I spent just one year at Ontario College of Art, Toronto doing wonderful drawing classes, but no painting. Since then, I have mostly shown at 101 Art Gallery with Mark. It is a bitter-sweet experience to be showing in this space again.

TESSA ALEXANDER
I am primarily a watercolor artist as I prefer the fluidity and vibrancy that the medium offers. I am drawn to imagery that highlights the everydayness of life in the tropics, particularly things that are taken for granted. These botanicals are painted from my studio views. The two collages combine my Creole series and Madras head-wraps with the botanicals, Hummingbird, and a quote from Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman"

MARGARET SHEPPARD
Margaret has been painting for most of her adult life. It was a part of the household activity. Firstly, with husband Stephen Sheppard painting and exhibiting and later with son, Peter , jointly exhibiting with him.
The natural beauty of Trinidad and Tobago continues to inspire themes for new works in acrylic, especially at this time of year when everything is flowering.
Painting comes like my second job while my work in the theatre has been the main job, designing and making costumes for the ballet, opera, Chorales and other theatrical art forms.
