
Position Announcement: Basketball Coach (Girls)
Annual Position: August 18, 2025 - June 10, 2026
The Storm King School is an 8th-12th grade, co-educational, college preparatory boarding/day school of 175 students. Our students come from throughout the US and 25 countries. We are located in the spectacular Hudson Highlands, overlooking the Hudson River and surrounded by 6,000 acres of green space comprising Black Rock Forest and Storm King State Park.
The Basketball Coach is responsible for the recruitment of capable athletes to play at the highest level of the NEPSAC AA Classification, development of student-athletes' skills in basketball, as well as development in areas that align with the school’s core values: Truth, Respect, and Responsibility Coaching experience is required, playing experience is preferred The basketball coach may be asked to participate in regular staff meetings in alignment with their position in athletics. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass all applicable background checks
Salary and Benefits: The salary range for a stipend position is between $3,500 and $5,000 depending on experience Based on the wishes of the ideal candidate combined with the needs of the school, a full-time role with mutual agreement would also be considered
Schedule:
● Monday to Friday
● Weekends as needed
