Time’s features will create unique moments: an extra wide duplex owner’s suite, certified heli platform, submarine, as well as an observatory deck and other fun elements.

The collaboration between A&R and Valentin Design Sur Mesure is built on common values like honesty, humility, and hard work. Trust is an essential element that creates the space for innovation to ourish. And a mutual passion for quality cra smanship makes the di erence between a good design and agreat design. According to A&R, a harmonious partnership takes time to develop and leads to the creation of the best possible yachts for their clients. Bjorn Benecke, Sales Manager at A&R, adds, “Experience meets innovation to create excellence.”

The reason

The decision to create an 86m explorer yacht was based on A&R’s partnership potential. A connection was established between the shipyard’s sales team and the leadership of Switzerland’s only highpro le yacht design studio, and both parties joined e orts in early 2021. By de ning a vision aligned to today’s demands for out of the ordinary explorer yachts during a common kick-o meeting in the shipyard’s headquarters in Lemwerder, Germany, the project set sail.

For each partner, open communication based on trust was key to ensure each party’s experiences and strengths went into the common e ort. Designing in total harmony means that the result is not only beautiful, but gets the maximum out of available volumes, brings engineering solutions to design features, introduces cost e cient detail solutions and guarantees the calculability of each and every aspect of Time.

decks. The sleeping area is located on the upper deck and is nished with woollen and silk carpets, marbles, and woods, with a discrete o ce nook and two en suite bathrooms. Forward is a private terrace secluded in the bow with a Jacuzzi, which can be accessed through sliding glass doors.

The remaining guest accommodation is split between two VIP suites and four double cabins with 26 crew berths on the lower deck.

There are three swimming pools on board Time, of which the largest can be found in the beach club, where two shell doors fold down to let in natural light and a sea breeze. A waterside lounge and wellness lounge can also be found at this level next to a guest gym and dedicated dive store. The second pool can be found on the bridge deck a , while a third pool is sequestered in the decking on the helipad. With the main saloon and formal dining space hosted on the upper deck, the main deck becomes free to carry the explorer yacht’s three tenders, submarine, and a line-up of toys. A cosier lounge, also known as the ‘gentleman’s retreat’, can be found on the level below the helipad, and o ers a more informal breakaway social spot on board. Here, the colours are darker with a central interior re pit, a wine cellar and tinted glass. A corridor leads to a ‘sports club’ amidships with a pool table at the centre.

In addition to Time’s explorer credentials, the model will be powered by a dieselelectric propulsion system and POD drives delivering a range of 5,000nm. Other highlights include a large outdoor dining area on the bridge deck, a sundeck cinema and a crow’s nest.
