My name is Miss Winstanley and I will be your Reception teacher.
I have been teaching at Grange Primary School for just over 2 years and love being a Granger!
In Frog Class, we will enjoy lots of fun and creative learning and play time where we use our imagination to explore the world around us.
I love animals and have had lots of dogs and cats when I was little. Some of my favourite things to do are reading, I love Julia Donaldson books, going for adventure walks, swimming and spending lots of time having fun with friends and family!
My name is Mrs Bolton and I will be the teaching assistant in Frog Class.
I have 3 children, a dog called Scoop, a cat called Thomas, 3 guinea pigs and a rabbit. I love animals!
At the weekend, I enjoy taking my children swimming, spending time with my family, reading a book in bed and watching Disney films.
At Grange Primary School we greatly value the importance of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in providing a secure foundation for future learning and development and in ensuring that each child has a happy and positive start to their school life. It is our aim to:
• Give each child a happy and positive start to their school life, in which they can establish a solid foundation for a love of learning.
• Enable each child to develop socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally.
• Encourage children to develop independence within a secure and friendly atmosphere.
• Support children in building relationships through the development of social skills such as cooperation and sharing.
• Work alongside parents to meet each child’s individual needs to ensure they reach their full potential.
We cannot wait to help you grow and flourish this year!
