Kidz Love Soccer Classes
All levels are welcome to enjoy learning the world’s most popular sport! Kidz Love Soccer provides positive framework whereby all players are nurtured, built up, and developed as young athletes.
A typical class session includes age-appropriate soccer activities: warm up, skill introduction, fun games and instructional scrimmages conducted in a non-competitive, recreational format led by the professional KLS staff.

Mommy/Daddy & Me Soccer
The fun happens on the field, so don’t just watch from the sidelines! Here is a chance to join your toddler’s introduction to the world’s most popular sport. You’ll participate in fun, age-appropriate activities, and help your child to develop their motor and socialization skills. A variety of soccer activities are played each week. Adult participation is required.

Chase the ball! Tot-Soccer helps kids learn to be part of a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Pre Soccer
Little tykes will enjoy running and kicking just like the big kids! Children will have fun and learn the basic techniques of the game while building self-esteem. Children learn to follow instructions in a nurturing, age appropriate environment. All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey! Shin guards are required after the first meeting.

Soccer 1: Techniques & Teamwork
Players will learn dribbling, passing, defense, and shooting goals! Fun skill games are played at every session and every participant will have a ball at their feet. Small sided soccer matches will be introduced gradually. Perfect for the first time players while being fun and engaging for kids with some experience. Shin guards are required after the first meeting.

Soccer 2: Skillz & Scrimmages
A great introduction to competitive soccer. Skillz and Scrimmages teaches advanced skill building such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a team format, as well as an introduction to goal-tending. Kids will scrimmage and learn to play together as a team. From the defense and mid-field to forward and goalie....kids will get exposure to playing every position and have a blast doing it. Appropriate for players of varying skill levels. And, best of all, each participant receives a Kidz Love Soccer jersey!

Beginner Tennis Lessons
Grab your tennis racquet and get ready to play! Whether you are a beginning player or play casually, these lessons will improve your game and help you enjoy tennis. Our lessons focus on skill refinement, practicing and match play to develop tennis players. Players will learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys, and serves during a series of drills and games designed to teach the game in a fun way! Players will also learn the rules of tennis and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game to play.
Trailblazers Track and Field Recreation level
In addition to the training, athletes will have the option to participate in track and field meets with other local parks and rec teams. This will provide them experience in competing against other teams and seeing their own individual progress. The track meet events will include: 50m dash(5/6yo), 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m.

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Improv is the form of theater, often comedy, in which most or all of what is performed is unscripted and created spontaneously by the performers. This hilarious, high-energy class will develop your child’s imagination, self-confidence, and spontaneity. Improv comedy uses teamwork by students working together to create something out of nothing. Have you always wanted to learn to play an instrument? This is the perfect opportunity to learn! This weekly, half-hour, one-on-one class is perfect to learn to play guitar, ukulele or bass. Learn how to make your music instrument learning experience as fun and as easy as possible. Taught by Dace’s Rock ‘n’ More Music Academy instructor, this class will be a lot of fun whether or not you practice but will likely be a lot more fun if you practice a lot. Create and explore the development of apps and games using REAL coding on computers! Create a variety of simple games for enjoyment. Different games will be created each session so participants can repeat the same class and have new experiences. Whether you are a new player, play regularly, or are just wanting to play some casual matches, this is the league for you! Join one of the only adult tennis leagues in the area. Players will be rated the first week of the league and scheduled to create competitive matches. **Singlewall Bat League** - Double-Headers
Adult softball is offered each spring, summer and fall. Coed and Men’s leagues provide an opportunity for nearly everyone to play! Swing for the fences this summer! Teams play two games each night for six weeks in addtion to playoffs for top teams. More Recreational teams should register for the Monday night league. League is complete with umpires, playoffs, and champion’s t-shirts. Games will be played at Summit Park. BARRE Fusion
Barre Fusion is a low-impact, 50-minute workout that blends the ballet barre technique with Pilates, yoga, dance, strength training, and breathwork. This workout works the mind as much as the body as neural pathways are created, and muscles are strengthened then stretched. The result is a total mind-body healing workout. Students should bring their own mat, 2-4 lb. hand weights (if you have some), a water bottle, and a sweat towel. This class is open to all over the age of 16. No Ballet experience is required.

Kindergarten Puppy Training

THE BIG GAME EXPERIENCE:
Campers will learn skills and drills that prepare them for a real game experience. They will have a chance to scrimmage every day, and on the last day of the camp, the players will form teams to play a real game or round-robin format! Coached by i9 Sports staff, the focus will be on FUN, equal playing time and instruction!

We work with players of all skill levels in this afternoon only basketball camp to develop fundamentals of the game, focusing on dribbling, passing, triple-threat, offense, defense, & shooting. There will be daily skill-based drills with games to reinforce the skills. Group assignments will be determined by grades and skill levels. We’ll see you on the court! Non-marking, flat-soled court shoes are highly recommended.

Get your little ones started on the right foot in the sports world, even if they have the left shoe on it! This camp is an introduction to sports for your 4-5 year old and focuses on a combination of sports which may include flag football, soccer, t-ball and other fun games for young athletes. This camp is designed to help each child ignite a passion for sports while building their confidence, developing social connections and having fun through learning and game play. Child MUST be fully potty-trained and able to communicate needs to instructors.

Skyhawks - Basketball Camp
This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages. Experience the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football. Using a curriculum developed by the experts from USA Football, coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling. Participants will gain confidence and learn important life lessons in a fun, positive environment.

Skyhawks - Volleyball Camp
Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate essential life-lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through gamebased drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Ages 8 - 12
Skyhawks - Golf Camp
Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided. Ages 6 - 12

Skyhawks - Mini Hawk Camp (multi-sport)
This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks and wear appropriate athletic attire.

Summer Camps
Camp Wild
Camp Wild offers weekly themes to create a new and fun experience for children ages 6-11. Each week features two action packed field trips. Campers are introduced to a variety of activities that are based off the week’s theme, as well as everyday favorites such as swimming, boating, archery lessons, scavenger hunts, geocaching, guest speakers, arts and crafts, games, nature walks, arboretum tours, and so much more. Core hours are Monday-Friday 9am4pm, but before and after care is available 7:30-9:00 and 4:005:30 for an additional fee.

Lake Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Adventure Camp
This is an amazing, outdoor only, camp for the active-minded tween, trying new challenging adventures on land, sea and defying gravity as we rock climb, mountain bike, sail, hike and much more. Two days per week will offer fun at Lake Wilderness Park with kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, orienteering, archery and activities that teach stewardship and understanding of our local wildlife and nature preserves. Campers should be physically able to take part in challenging outdoor activities and be confident swimmers in order to participate safely in this camp.
Camp headquarters: Shelter #1 at Lake Wilderness Park.
Week 1: Scale and Shred
A week of Outdoor Adventures in the Wilderness and on our own Lake Wilderness! Three trips and trainings to introduce participants to the adventures of the outdoors and two days learning camping/survival skills, games and challenges offered at Lake Wilderness Park and surrounding trails.

Up your game design skills by using a game development software package that many professionals utilize! Design, create, and code custom graphics for a 2-D “retro” style video game! Campers who also register for the afternoon session (Mega Movies Sr) can integrate graphics developed in the morning into the afternoon game, and will receive supervision during the lunch break to make a full day of adventures!

ON THE MOVE
The ON THE MOVE recreation van is coming to a play area near you this summer. The van will be packed with free games, sports equipment, arts & crafts, toys and so much more. Our goal is to get our Maple Valley kids MOVING and off the video games or couch and exercising/playing outdoors. The Recreation staff will bring a van full-o-fun to selected parks and other sites, providing free, safe & fun, activities for youth 12 and under. This program promotes healthy, active lifestyles by providing ways to play and a healthy snack at each stop. In early June the dates, times and locations will be published.
