Summer Camps
Camp Wild
Camp Wild offers weekly themes to create a new and fun experience for children ages 6-11. Each week features two action packed field trips. Campers are introduced to a variety of activities that are based off the week’s theme, as well as everyday favorites such as swimming, boating, archery lessons, scavenger hunts, geocaching, guest speakers, arts and crafts, games, nature walks, arboretum tours, and so much more. Core hours are Monday-Friday 9am4pm, but before and after care is available 7:30-9:00 and 4:005:30 for an additional fee.

Due to demand, campers will be limited to a maximum of four (4) weeks of Camp WILD.
The City reserves the right to withdraw registration(s) for any camper who registers in more than four (4) weeks of Camp Wild.

Ages 6 - 11
Wilderness Adventure Camp
This is an amazing, outdoor only, camp for the active-minded tween, trying new challenging adventures on land, sea and defying gravity as we rock climb, mountain bike, sail, hike and much more. Two days per week will offer fun at Lake Wilderness Park with kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, orienteering, archery and activities that teach stewardship and understanding of our local wildlife and nature preserves. Campers should be physically able to take part in challenging outdoor activities and be confident swimmers in order to participate safely in this camp.
Camp headquarters: Shelter #1 at Lake Wilderness Park.
Week 1: Scale and Shred
A week of Outdoor Adventures in the Wilderness and on our own Lake Wilderness! Three trips and trainings to introduce participants to the adventures of the outdoors and two days learning camping/survival skills, games and challenges offered at Lake Wilderness Park and surrounding trails.
Field Trips: North Bend to Climb a Rock Wall, Mountain Biking at Henry’s Ridge, Hike to Little Si

Week 2: Water Wonderland
Location: Lake Wilderness Park
Wilderness Adventure Camp
Our Water Wonderland week will be filled with three days of learning water sports on the Puget Sound, local lakes, rivers and two days on our own Lake Wilderness! Campers must be confident swimmers to participate in the Water Wonderland weeks.
Field Trips: Lake Wilderness sailing lessons, Alki Beach body boarding, and Snoqualimie River float picnic
Ages 12 - 15
Week 3: Trapeze and Trail
Location: Lake Wilderness Park
A week of Outdoor Adventures in the Wilderness and on our own Lake Wilderness! Three trips and trainings to introduce your youth to the adventures of the outdoors and two days learning camping/survival skills, games and challenges offered at Lake Wilderness Park and surrounding trails.

Field Trips: Ropes Course Challenge, Mountain Biking at Henry’s Ridge, Hike to Poo Poo Point
Ages 12 - 15
Week 4: Rowing and Rescue
Location: Lake Wilderness Park
Our Rowing and Rescue week will be filled with 3 days of learning team rowing, intro to Lifeguarding and finishing your summer at Wild Waves and also days on our own Lake Wilderness! Campers must be confident swimmers to participate in the Rowing and Rescue week.
