GU is regarded as one of the pioneer furniture designer in India. Even after he passed away, his legacy still lives on. The 'father of Indian furniture design', GU brought the knowledge of the world's best, nurtured the field through his teachings and emphasized the spirit of humility and service in design.

CONNECTIONS ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN A DESIGN . THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO SHOW ABOUT CONNECTIONS IS WHERE AND HOW THEY ARE. LACK OF CONNECTIONS IN A FURNITURE CAN RESULT IN THE FALLOUT OF THE FURNITURE'S SKELETON.

DESIGNING A LAPTOP STAND , USING MDF BOARD , IT WOULD BE MADE USING LASER CUTTING. FIRST PROPOSING A DESIGN IDEA AND THEN CONVERTING THE IDEA INTO A SHOP DRAWING ACCORDING TO THE MEASURMRNTS OF THE LAPTOP AND ERGONOMICS . AND THEN GIVING THE DRAWINGS FOR LASER CUTTING.

ERGONOMICS IS THE STUDY OF PEOPE'S EFFICIENCY IN THEIR WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

WHEN IT COMES TO LAPTOPS THE MAIN AIM IS TO RELAX YOUR NECK AND YOUR SHOULDERS AND HANDS AND YOU CAN DO SO BY THE USING THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

FIRST: PLACE THE LAPTOP CLOSE ENOUGH TO SEE IT WITHOUT HOLDING YOUR HEAD FORWARD. ELEVATE THE LAPTOP USING A LAPTOP STAND, IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE SCREEN IS STRAIGHT- AHEAD THE EYE LEVEL

SECOND: SUPPORT THE ELBOW WITH ARM REST OR CUSHION STARIGHT BACK WITH THIGS HORIZONTAL, AND FOREARMS PARALLEL TO THE FLOOR.

THIRD: FEET FLAT ON THE FLOOR OR ON THE FOOTREST FOR SUPPORT

FOURTH: TAKE THE LAPTOP OFF YOUR LAP ADJUST THE CHAIR HEIGHT USE SEPARATE MOUSE OR KEYBOARD SIT BACK ON THE CHAIR WITH YOUR HEAD DIRECTLY OVER RELAXED SHOULDERS AND SUPPORT THE LOWER BACK
