Is it deepening or an imposition?

There’s a moment in the school life that we’ve to decide what track could be the better to complement our life project, “what may change in my project life if I select this deepenin’?” “Is a pal important or my likes more important to select the subject I’m gonna study?” “Are this sort of things I’m studying in this subject important to my project of life?” are questions that normally we do to ourselves when we are making one of the most aberrant difficult decisions in our lives.

This is still neutral, and more to the teenagers aged fifteen and sixteen, but there are some problems, in first time the educational system, and in something odd in the teenagers at the time of selecting their deepening in some subject.

Before I’m starting my argumentation, I would like have cleared some terms, a deepening of a subject is, as the name says, a more-sighting of some subject that could be of interest in any way to your professional life or to your daily life, also I’d like have had definite the meaning of an educational system; An educational system is a general structure where the teaching is definite.

I dunno if is the administrative, directing, or some managin’ in the school that is making the change here, but, for me, they did two disturbing things, at first, the closing the deepening of philosophy, and the students (and teachers) had not cared about that, and the second one, they DON’T allow to do a deepening in any subject that the student’d like.

I wonder if the people that is in charge of manage this sorta things allowed to select any subject, like arts, systems, physical studies, other ones, the current learnin’ in school would be different, ‘cus all the students would be studying a subject that they REALLY LIKE, and not a materia that was an imposition between four principal materias that demands the state (I don’t wanna say that social studies, Spanish, mathematics and biology not are cool materias, I’m only expressing that I’m in disagreement with the actual imposition of ONLY these materias), I’m sure there are lots of students that would like one more unit to learn more about physics, music, technology, etc, but they only can obey to the narrowminded educational system such as an imposition in the school, I think it don’t helps out in some life projects.

Coming out with the inclusive deepening theme, this same people literally had taken off of the deepening electives the philosophy, allowing select only four materias (as I said before). I had been wondering during all this text if we could select more materias, it would be so much different, but we cannot, and as it’s too much we only can select between four fuckin’ subjects.

Also, if the students were more interested in their likings, the entire story’d be lots different, at this moment, the students can demand to the administration of the school to ask for a more inclusive deepenings, to ask for more materias, but the change is still missing in the students, also the teachers’d did a change, but I dunno if the people is self-consisous, or they can’t, or the system is completely hermetic to any opinion.

The only thing I think about the four deepening electives is that it’s like a Colombian election to a big part of the community; they’re always going for the “less worst”.

There are students that don’t like the materias from the deepenings, and they are obligated to select one to study more about it, for me, it’s not a good way to teach to students, and more when it’s not inclusive with the likings of the whole community.

I’ve to accept that the current way of the deepenings is not the best, but the four materias can help the students with a vast amount of things in the professional and daily life, for example, I’m selecting Spanish language as deepenin’ for the 2016 and 2017, I want to be a musician, but I’m sure that this material will accent some basis in some things that I’m sure’ll help me with my professional carrier, also, I’ll be donna something that I love really much, reading, so, I’m sure the deepening shall help me with lots of things, so, I invite to the reader to don’t get a wrong idea about the deepenings, and that all that things the people can learn in a deepening depends only in the mental capacity of the person, not in the subject.
