Dubai Schools Al Barsha

• Dubai Schools Al Barsha offer an American Curriculum based on the New York State Education Department - NYSED, resulting in an American high school diploma. We strive to empower and inspire students across a variety of abilities and backgrounds. As a result, the curriculum will foster empathy, self-motivation, and pride in every student.
• Dubai Schools Al Barsha Project aims to create a mutually beneficial partnership between the government and the private sector. This partnership will ensure Dubai’s aspiration to have 100% of Emirati students enrolled in 'Good+' rated schools by 2021.
• We offer a strong American curriculum with excellence in teaching and learning in a caring, inspiring environment. The curriculum will also prepare and inspire students to contribute positively to a rapidly changing world. Students will learn problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and life skills as core values, providing a global perspective and context.
• The school's curriculum is developed to support the need for relevance, belonging, competence, relationships, and fun that characterize early adolescent learners. The school uses, as its starting point for curriculum development, the Engage New York curriculum which is available online.
• In Middle School, students will be enrolled in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Arabic, Islamic Studies, UAE Social Studies, Social Studies, Moral Education, and Physical Education.
