Curriculum Vitae

The concept for the Frylite Lisburn Depotwas to create a unique, first of its kind, oil recycling facility which houses the company’s international headquarters, where used cooking oil, collected door-to-door is transformed.

This multi-use building needed to provide not only open plan office and conference space, but also a processing plant, facilities for lorries, storage areas, drop off points, a laboratory and a canteen, as well as an allowance for future expansion plans.

The focus internally was on the best use of space whilst at the same time keeping a distinction between the private and public areas, satisfying the client brief, within the parameters of the budget.

Externally, fibre cement panels of varying sizes are laid onto a steel grid, creating differentials of colour and texture making this an attractive and functional facility.
