Documents that accompany the Endorsement Letter To make your Innovator Visa application easier, we have prepared a detailed list of documents that have to accompany your Endorsement Letter. Before making an application for an innovator visa, you will need to apply for and obtain an endorsement letter from a UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) approved endorsement body. They will assess your business idea and carry out a credibility assessment on behalf of the Home Office.

For a new business endorsement, the endorsement letter must include the following documents: - The endorsing body name - Endorsement reference number - Date of issue which must be no earlier than the three months before the date of the application - Applicant’s name, date of birth, nationality and passport number - Short description of the proposed business venture, products and services it will provide - Name and contract details of someone within the endorsing body who will certify the contents of the endorsement letter to the Home Office - Proof the business is innovative, viable, and scalable as set out in the part W6 of Appendix W in the Rules - Satisfy the endorsing body that the applicant will devote their entire working time to the UK developing business ventures

For an existing business endorsement the endorsement letter must include the following documents: - The endorsing body name - Endorsement reference number - Date of issue which must be no earlier than the three months before the date of the application - Applicant’s name, date of birth, nationality and passport number - Short description of the business venture, products and services it provides - Name and contract details of someone within the endorsing body who will certify the contents of the endorsement letter to the Home Office - The applicant can demonstrate significant achievements which are judged against the business plan assessed in their prior endorsement documents - The business is registered with Companies House and the applicant is a director or member of the business - Evidence the business is active and trading - The business has been sustained for the last twelve months (at least) based on consideration of its assets, expected income juxtaposed between current and proposed expenses - The applicant can prove an active role in the daily management and development of the business - Satisfy the endorsing body that the applicant will devote their entire working time to the UK developing business ventures

- Bank statements confirming you had at least £1,270 in savings in a bank account for twenty-eight consecutive days before making the application for an innovator visa.

- Evidence that you meet the English language requirement - Proof of your investment funds in cases that involve new businesses - Tuberculosis test results if you come from a country where you have to take the test - A certified translation of every document that is not in English or Welsh.

You will need a blank page in your passport for your Innovator visa if you are coming from outside the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein and from within those countries if your passport does not contain a biometric chip.

You may also be required to produce further documentation depending on your circumstances.
