THE NATURAL PASSION “I was born into the fragrance industry, growing up in Grasse, the capital of perfumery. As a child, I was surrounded by roses and jasmine fields, and inspired by playing with my sisters during my father’s visits to the MANE factory in Bar-sur-Loup.

Driven by creativity and fascinated by art in general, I grew up admiring my grandfather’s passion for plants and flowers. Surrounded by the exquisite landscape and aromas that Provence has to offer, it was “natural” for me to become a perfumer”.

NURTURING F U T U R E TA L E N T S We select and nurture the best talents, and are consistently seeking creative, spontaneous, charismatic and passionate individuals to join our team.

Composers of scents and emotions, we consider the perfumers of MANE’s Consumer Goods and Fine Fragrance divisions to be olfactory artists.

Apprentices are trained at the MANE School of Perfumery for a minimum of two years, during which they follow a thorough, customised programme that has been perfected over the last 25 years.

This programme endows the trainees with a profound knowledge of natural products, chemistry of perfumery and cosmetic ingredients, innovation, regulations, sensory analysis, consumer preferences and the science of olfaction, all the while nourishing their unique, creative talent. Junior Perfumers complete their training “on the job”, under the mentorship of a Senior Perfumer, and complement the knowledge acquired at the headquarters with enriching experiences in a variety of creative centres around the world.
