The Hourglass Project - the miniatures

In July 2014, outoftheCUBE hosted their first innovative stand at the Joburg Turbine Art Fair (TAF14) - this featured no artworks but only framed, untitled QR codes that linked to their online exhibitions. Visitors to our stand were encouraged to scan the codes randomly to discover outoftheCUBE’s diverse selection of works by contemporary South African artists.
