Daytime events Conferences, meetings and seminars We have two flexible meeting spaces available to hire for daytime events, whatever your meeting or conference needs. The Lecture Room is a light and airy, purpose-built conference room with in-built AV equipment, natural daylight or client controlled blackout blinds, free WiFi access and flexible room layout. The Granada Study Room is an intimate and inspiring setting for meeting hire for smaller groups, set within the beautiful Gallery of Craft and Design, and housing key pieces from the gallery’s collections. To help you make the most of your event at our unique venue, Manchester Art Gallery’s dedicated Events Team can arrange guided tours of the collection or group access to our temporary exhibitions. We can also help put together interactive sessions involving the gallery’s displays and ensure your daytime event makes a lasting impression on your guests. Weddings and Civil Partnerships Our gallery is a beautiful and unforgettable setting for weddings and civil ceremonies, and the galleries and artworks provide a backdrop for photographs which is second to none. Ceremonies are held amongst the paintings in the much-loved Lowry and Valette Gallery, which provides an exclusive setting for you and your guests. After the ceremony, your wedding party can celebrate with drinks in the romantic Pre-Raphaelite Galleries, followed by dinner and dancing in the glass Atrium or the Gallery Restaurant. Our friendly and professional Events Team will guide you through the planning process, and our caterers will work with you to ensure that you and your guests have a truly memorable and distinctive wedding experience.
