Introduction to VALCOMP VALCOMP Sp. z o.o. is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of sliding and folding door systems.

The company was established in 1991 and our products include interior and furniture door systems used in housing and public utility construction, along with a wide range of sliding and folding industrial and garage door systems, window shutter systems and handling systems manufactured by the French MANTION Group, of which VALCOMP has been a member since 2002.

EUROPEAN STANDARD

Our door systems exceed the most stringent criteria of the standard concerning the requirements for sliding and folding door fittings. The products bearing this sign were tested by VALCOMP in accordance with European standard EN 1527: 1998. It means that all the sliding door system fittings and tracks have been tested for trouble-free operation for 100 000 cycles, friction force change and corrosion resistance.

The products bearing this mark satisfy the requirements of EN 1527:1998, which sets out the requirements for the main components of sliding and bi-fold/multi-fold doors. The periodic testing, static load, friction and corrosion resistance covered by the standard only apply to the fittings and tracks. Door mechanisms for all kinds of sliding and folding doors intended for industrial and residential use are included.

VALCOMP WARRANTY

VALCOMP warrants that the product will be free from material and workmanship defects and that it will operate in a trouble-free manner for a period of 25-years. Any defects in the elements of the system shall be removed under the warranty, provided that the system is installed in accordance with the Instruction Manual and used according to its intended purpose.

DUST BRUSHES Dust brushes are packaged in colourfully labelled bags Using dust brushes in sliding door systems is an excellent method of securing them against loud closing and ingress of dust.

Two types of brushes are available: u High brushes, sealing dust brush are used for sealing doors between moving elements and securing against ingress of dust. u Low brushes, buffer dust brush have two functions; they seal the doors and prevent slamming and loud closing.
