About the Conference

Dr. O P Bhalla Central Library, MRIIRS is pleased to announce the International Conference on “Recent Trends in Academic Libraries: Systems and Services” in collaboration with Delhi Library Association and Library Association of Bihar and supported by SMEH, MRIIRS on August 18, 2023 to August 19, 2023. This Conference will not only allow to learning about recent trends in Academic Library systems and services, but the participant will also get the opportunities to know about the changes takes place after pandemic in Academic Library . This Conference provides a Platform to the LIS Professional to exchange their views,experiencesandideasaboutlatestdevelopmentintheAcademicLibrary.

All the selected papers will be published in print form in an edited book with an ISBN. Only Top shortlisted papers may be published in the Journal “Library Heralds” (UGC Approved Journal) and “Gyankosh: The Journal of Information Management” a refereedJournal.

• The Paper is approximately 6000 words with single spacing in Times New Roman 12 fontSize.

• The Paper should contain title, Name of the Author(s), Contact details with 500 words AbstractandKeywords.

The mission of Library Association of Bihar (LAB) is to support libraries and library professionals in their efforts to provide access to information and knowledge, to promote literacy and reading, and to support lifelong learning opportunities for all. The LAB strives to provide resources, professional development opportunities, and networking events to help our members grow and succeed in their careers.Library Association of Bihar (LAB) was established & registered on 31st March 2022 through Societyregistrationact21,1860.

Delhi Library Association (DLA)

Delhi Library Association was founded on 10th March 1939 and registered under the societies act xxi of 1860; its registration number is 161/1940-41. After adopting a constitution and providing rules and regulations for conducting its affairs, it got registered in May 1940. As a result of partition of the country in 1947 and other political developments, the Association went into hibernation. It got revived again in 1953. Delhi Library Association has made significant progress in its publication activity. It has brought out many ad-hoc DLA publications from time to time. It is publishing a quarterly LibraryHeraldjournalregularlysince1958.
