Year 5

It’s been a wonderful end to the academic year for the Year 6 Eagles. Our standout event was Science Week when we all became palaeontologists and excavated some ancient animal fossils. We researched what they might be and applied our knowledge of evolution and adaptation to figure out what happened to them. We connected this to our writing where we wrote ‘Just So’ stories based on the Rudyard Kipling tales. We have also been busy working on our UN Sustainable Development Goal projects where we have each picked a local or global issue that we feel passionate about and created a hands-on project to show what can be done about it. We can’t wait to share our learning with you!
