MARÍLIA MATOSO
ABOUT ME
I am an architect and freelancer designer working with interior projects, creative direction, service and product design.
I also work as a visual artist focusing my art on the relationship between people, cities and photography.
Besides, I founded a digital magazine where I write and research about creativity, trends, future and innovation for the architecture and design market, called Tabulla.
I am currently teaching in free undergraduate and postgraduate courses in architecture and design areas as well as drawing and painting classes in art schools.
I am also a columnist for ArchDaily with articles published in ArchDailyBR and ArchDaily International and a volunteer for the NGO Urbans Sketchers.

50m2 apartment in Rio de Janeiro for a resident who is a color lover and desired to have at least as many open wardrobes as possible with the everyday objects being within reach of her hands.

160m2 apartament owned by a family who wanted to live in an apartment that looked like a house rescuing important childhood ties with the culture of the streets of Recife and Olinda cities.

300m2 apartment of a family living on the beach of Boa Viagem in Recife who loves to receive friends and family at home on weekends to cook, prepare drinks and enjoy the beach.

Project of a coworking office designed for cultural producers from Recife also used for courses, lectures and trainings with a flexible layout to adapt to both functions at different timesof the day.

Year: 2016
Mobile car for My Burger Snack Company used in events such as weddings, corporate and anniversaries adapting the traditional menu to a less formal proposal.

TAPIOQUEIRAS DE OLINDA

Year: 2012
Project to shelter the tapioqueiras and artisans of Olinda in the Historic Site of the City created with a design that allows the barrack to be locked during the night and opened during the day.
