Colorbots is a project in collaboration with Pantone, Moo.com and graphic design students from Academy of Art University. Our goal was to create a set of educational cards and derivable that would teach children ages 2-8 about colors and color meaning. The Colorbots of New Bot City are a group of robot characters that intend to teach color to children by showing the relationship between color and emotion. Each Colorbot has personality traits and occupation that corresponds with their chosen Pantone Color. The diversity between the Colorbots create unique, individual characters where children can relate to their different personality or aspire to have a similar occupation in their future.

DESCRIPTION The objective of this project was to redesign an existing beer label for both premium and light. I chose Humming Ale from Anchor Brewing for their inspiring story and values. Because of their rich and strong history, I decided to keep the principles of the Anchor Brewing by keeping the classic and historic feel, but still introducing some modern elements, like the simplified logo, illustrations and a unique label shape. The dark colors that I’ve selected combined with the foils creates a more premium look and feel towards the beer and reinforces their classic and strong integrity.

DESCRIPTION Technology is constantly developing and pushing boundaries. Pushing Forward is a typographic conference that is held in the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago IL that allows designers to experience and discuss the future of technology and communications and how typography evolves with the ever-changing devices. I wanted the audience to get a glimpse of the future by showing a couple of conceptual and prototype devices that could potentially be seen in fifty years time. Using a geometric typeface and informative diagrams, I produced a very technical and mathematical aesthetic that communicates “future�.

The younger generations are increasingly resentful towards the elderly – seeing them as the cause of many problems, and a drain on capital as the ratio of workers to seniors continues to fall.** The rich and poor have continued to grow apart, now that upward social mobility has become next to impossible. Massive protests outside corporate HQs and gated communities are a daily reality on the news. Global warming has created almost 150 million climate refugees: a sixfold increase compared to 2010. The influx of people to foreign lands has put a further strain on economies. Resentment towards migrants has produced an upsurge in nationalism with many isolationist parties sweeping government elections. To maintain order and stability, martial law

DESCRIPTION The task was to redesign any existing movie posters that would tell the storyline in a single glance. Although there are countless movie posters, there are only a few that could evoke the audience’s emotion and grab their attention. I decided to redesign three posters of a movie that I had little knowledge about and study them from a different perspective. I used simple yet strong imagery that convey each of the movie’s atmoshpere that will make the audiences get the sense of what genre it is. I used simple typography that supports the imagery instead of competing with each other, which create a nice hierarchy flow. While undergoing this project, I realized that design has the ability to manipulate the audiences emotions by just using a poster.

DESCRIPTION Colorbots is a project in collaboration with Pantone, Moo.com and graphic design students from Academy of Art University. Our goal was to create a set of educational cards and derivable that would teach children ages 2-8 about colors and color meaning. The Colorbots of New Bot City are a group of robot characters that intend to teach color to children by showing the relationship between color and emotion. Each Colorbot has personality traits and occupation that corresponds with their chosen Pantone Color. The diversity between the Colorbots create unique, individual characters where children can relate to their different personality or aspire to have a similar occupation in their future.
