Mission

The mission of the MaliVai Youth Foundation is to develop in classrooms, on tennis throughout communities.

Vision

Our vision is that the young participate in our program with the resources they need potential and become contributing members of society.

About MWYF

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation has been providing after school and summer youth development programs for 28 years. Located in zip code 32209, MWYF is in the heart of one of the most violent, impoverished areas of the city.

Yet the 200 + children who attend MWYF programs each day are thriving. In a zip code with the lowest high school graduation rate and highest teen pregnancy and juvenile crime rates, MWYF boasts a 100% on time graduation rate, 0 teen parents, and only five students involved in the juvenile justice system in our 28 year history. Nearly 2 million in college scholarships have been awarded to our students to continue their education beyond high school.
