The Christchurch Competitions Society held their annual event on July 15th - 20th with the dance section taking place at Villa Maria College. Local TM Dance World (TMDW) attended the ballet/jazz section with over sixty of their dancers competing in teams, solos, duos or trios. Dancers took to the stage in a variety of styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop. “There was fabulous dancing from all our students, all week,” said TM Dance World principal, Tara Marshall. Marshall “Teams night was a highlight with TMDW winning four out of the five classes they were entered in. They also won the Teachers’ Fancy Dancing Cup for the most points overall,” Tara added proudly. Results from the event:
