PIGGY PREDICTION PAYS OFF
The delightful spectacle of 'Guess the Pig Weight' at the Courtenay A&P Show exceeded expectations, attracting nearly 500 eager participants! C on testan ts fac ed th e entertaining challenge of eyeballing our porcine friend, estimating its weight, and vying for the grand prize – a Christmas-ready processed pig. The Bayleys competition stirred up spirited rivalry, drawing in pig aficionados, local hunters, and even selfproclaimed experts who insisted on weighing in pounds rather than kilograms for utmost accuracy during their piggy predictions. Guesses ranged from a dainty 5.65kg to a colossal 415kg, but our snouty companion tipped the scales at a hearty 85.4kg.
