The Springfield Township Committee has been asking, local businesses and residents to get into the Christmas spirit by decorating their shop fronts, entranceways, houses, sections, fences, hedges or gardens. People can then vote on their favourite display at Springfield Service Centre. Voting closes on December 20th Ben Knowles was happy to help Curle Contracting with their display. He had help from the Darfield Menzshed, they produced this fabulous Father Christmas, which is sitting in a grader on a hill overlooking Springfield. It is the first time Curle Contracting have done this, they have a few other ideas in mind, so keep your eyes peeled as you pass through Springfield.
