CHOOSING THE APPROPRIATE HARD HAT WINTER LINER The principle is simple – if you maintain a healthy temperature in your head and neck area, your body can focus warmth to other areas. Your body’s job is to bring warmth to your head and brain at all costs, which may include sacrificing other extremities. Your neck is the chief agent charged with carrying the warm blood to your brain. When choosing the appropriate head and neck gear, look for three major elements: proper fit, adequate insulation and a sufficient wind barrier. Select cold weather PPE that protects the ears, neck and head. Items should provide enough warmth to combat the expected regional temperatures and work area conditions. Choose your winter liners by length, number of layers and fabric. We have a varied line to keep you warm in almost any weather condition and our icons help identify the level of warmth our liners will offer.
