O Brasil é referência mundial quando o assunto é floresta plantada. Temos condições edafoclimáticas excepcionais, ciência genética avançada e tratos culturais em evolução constante.

Segundo o relatório da Ibá 2016, o País possui mais de 7,8 milhões de hectares de florestas plantadas de eucalipto e pinus, as mais produtivas do mundo, que abastecem as indústrias de celulose e papel, de painéis reconstituídos, de siderurgia e de produtos de madeira processada mecanicamente.

Nos últimos anos, o Brasil atraiu investimentos internacionais para o setor, abrindo novas fronteiras florestais e ganhando em escala com o aprimoramento de técnicas, usos de novas tecnologias e investimentos em pesquisas.

A Expoforest – Feira Florestal Brasileira nasceu dentro deste contexto ainda em 2008 quando foi realizada pela primeira vez, de forma exclusivamente estática, em Curitiba (PR). Em 2011, ela alcançou outra proporção tornando-se a única feira florestal dinâmica da América Latina que apresenta tecnologias voltadas à produção de madeira proveniente de florestas plantadas. Com o passar das edições e com o crescimento da feira, ela se tornou, em 2014, a maior feira florestal das Américas.

As duas últimas edições da Expoforest foram realizadas no município de Mogi Guaçu (SP), em áreas de plantio clonal de eucalipto, pertencentes à International Paper. Superando todas as expectativas, colocaram o Brasil em uma posição de destaque mundial. Em 2018, a Expoforest será realizada em Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, Região de Ribeirão Preto (SP).

Esta inovação em eventos florestais da América Latina garantiu aos visitantes a possibilidade de ver máquinas e equipamentos em operação. Uma experiência única, que proporciona ao visitante a verdadeira sensação extrema da realidade das florestas plantadas no Brasil.

When it comes to planted forests, Brazil is a key world player, with exceptional soil and climate conditions, advanced genetic technology and a constantly evolving market. According to a 2016 report by Ibá, there are over 7,8 million hectares of planted pine and eucalyptus forests in the country, the most productive in the world.

Expoforest – Brazilian Forestry Fair was first held in 2008, still a strictly static event. In 2011, it reached new heights by becoming the only dynamic forestry fair in Latin America to present technologies suited for wood production in planted forests. In 2014, Expoforest became the biggest forestry fair in the Americas, continuously exceeding the market’s expectations.

The fair’s innovative aspects ensure every visitor gets the experience of seeing machinery and equipment in action, providing the true extreme sensations one cannot help but experience within Brazil’s planted forests.

In 2018, Expoforest will be held at Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, São Paulo state, Ribeirão Preto area.

Ribeirão Preto, conhecida como a Califórnia brasileira possui excelente infraestrutura, fácil acesso aéreo e automotivo. A cidade também se destaca por receber os maiores eventos agrícolas da América Latina. Uma ampla rede hoteleira está disponível na cidade.

Aliando estes aspectos, a uma área de 200 hectares de floresta plantada de eucalipto clonal com 7 anos de idade, pertencente a International Paper, selecionamos um site adequado para a realização da Expoforest 2018.

A área fica na margem da Rodovia Anhanguera, no Município de Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, aproximadamente 55 km de Ribeirão Preto.

Ribeirão Preto, known as the Brazilian California, has excellent infrastructure with easy overground and automotive access. The city stands out because it has been the site of the biggest agricultural events in Latin America. It has a large hotel network available to house all the visitors of the fairs.

To add to all these features of the city, it has 200 acres of cloned eucalyptus planted seven years ago by the International Paper Enterprise. This planted area will be the hosting place for Expoforest 2018.

The area is located at the border of the Anhanguera Highway, in the Santa Rita do Passa Quatro County, about 55 kilometers away from Ribeirão Preto.

A planta da Expoforest foi desenhada aos moldes das grandes feiras florestais dinâmicas internacionais. A área foi dividida em: área estática e áreas dinâmicas de silvicultura, colheita, transporte e biomassa florestal. Desta forma, todas as empresas ligadas ao setor florestal terão um espaço adequado para a demonstração de seus produtos/equipamentos.

The map of Expoforest 2018 has been designed following the template of the largest international dynamic forestry fairs. The map area has been divided into: Static and Dynamic areas of silviculture, harvesting, transporting and forestry biomass. In this layout, all companies in the forestry sector will have a safe environment to show their latest equipment and products.

Com uma tradição de 41 anos, o Seminário de Atualização sobre Sistemas de Colheita de Madeira e Transporte Florestal é o evento que deu origem à programação da Semana Florestal Brasileira. O número de participantes vem crescendo a cada edição, e os patrocinadores encontram neste evento uma grande oportunidade de estar perto de um público altamente especializado. Na última edição, 35 empresas patrocinaram este evento, que foi acompanhado por 550 profissionais.

With a history of 41 years, the Seminar on Wood Harvesting and Forest Transportation Systems is the event which originated the Brazilian Forest Week itself.

The number of participants grows with every edition, and sponsors have found in this event a great opportunity for getting in touch with a highly specialized public. In its last edition, 35 companies sponsored this event, wich was attended by 550 professionals.

O evento organizado pela Malinovski e Embrapa Florestas é o principal palco de discussões sobre silvicultura do Brasil. Devido à relevância do tema, o evento reune formadores de opinião do mercado florestal brasileiro. Nele tendências e soluções são apresentadas e discutidas promovendo o intercâmbio técnicocientífico entre profissionais e instituições que atuam na área florestal. Na edição 2014, 650 profissionais participaram do evento.

The event, organized by Malinovski and Embrapa Florestas, is the most important space for discussions on silviculture in Brazil. As it’s a relevant theme, the event is a gathering place for trend setters in the Brazilian forestry market. Tendencies and solutions are presented and discussed, and technical-scientific knowledge is exchanged between professionals and institutions operating in the forest sector. In the 2014 edition, 650 professionals were present at the event.
