A Lifetime of Accomplishment • 1970

Ann receives her B.A. in Mathematics from Fordham University.

• 1972

Ann begins teaching Mathematics at Westover School.

• 1973

Ann receives her M.A. in Mathematical Scholarship from New York University.

Ann is named Head of the Mathematics Department

• 1986

Ann is named Director of Studies.

• 1990

Ann is named Dean of Faculty.

• 1992

Ann helps to establish the Women In Science & Engineering (WISE) Program.

• 1997

Ann is appointed Head of School.

The South African Exchange with St. Cyprian’s School begins.

• 1999

Ann is elected co-chair of the Connecticut Girls & Technology Network.

The Trustees adopt a 10-year Strategic Plan.

• 2000

The Western Australian Exchange with St. Mary’s School begins.

• 2001

The Fuller Athletic Center is completed.

• 2002

The England Exchange is established.

• 2004

The renovated Louise Bulkley Dillingham Performing Arts Center is dedicated.

Ann is elected President of the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools.

• 2006

The WISE Program is awarded the National Association of Independent Schools’ Leading Edge Award.

Ann is named Vice President of the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools.

• 2007

The Annual Fund tops $1 million for the first time.

Exchanges with schools in France and Spain are established.

Westover establishes a connection with the Maranyundo Girls School in Rwanda.

• 2009

Westover becomes a founding member of the Online School for Girls.

Ann is named President of the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools.

• 2011

Westover is one of first three schools to participate in the Invest in Girls program.

• 2015

Ann retires as Head of School after a 43-year career at Westover, including 18 years as Head of School.
