This project investigated the possibilities of architectural reinterpretation. A series of taxonomical experimentations took place during its initial conceptualization stage. Le Corbusier's Ronchamp Church was utilized as a starting point for that formal study. Varied formal experimentations and variations in composition and spatial arrangements led to the utilization of a series of profiles taken from a wall section in the church. Grasshopper was used extensively to facilitate the form-finding process using parameters and boolean operations. Jenny Wu's work and writings were the formal base for the investigation of the concepts of sculptural inlays and amplified tolerances. The building partially floats above the terrain to facilitate an urban path underneath it.
